I think chance (and a lot of artist) just go into the interview already angry and defensive before they even give charla a chance

Chance has my respect for putting up with that clown charlamagne .

If he clowned chance or stumped him its cool but he interrupts dude just to say the corniest comments .
Its just bad form , theres no fluidity in his interviews and on top of that have some respect for your craft as a media member and take 10 minutes out of your day to listen to 2-3 songs of a person you're interviewing .

NYC needs its own version of BBC Radio, educated music curation with quality interviews.


TBC and Hot 97 are heaping piles of trash that are trying to horde page views.

I like Chance and could sense his frustration at one point. I don't even think he was guarded but more getting tired of being cut off and the cornfest CTG brings to the table. Hell even Envy was asking good question but we weren't getting full answers because of CTG.
The whole antagonize the guest to get a joke is played out but he only does it to so many people. I think people would find his humor more acceptable if he mixed in genuine questions, actually listen to the answer, feel the guest out and then act accordingly not like that cringeworthy Surfboard joke. Chance also seemed ready to bust a move for Gambino at the end[emoji]128516[/emoji]

I always felt like Mario was too busy dealing with REAL life. It sucks to hear but dude has had a rough time.
He's been famous for over a decade so he really should be bigger but I guess that just aint his destiny.

heard charlamagne say he wanted to do face to face research by asking chance the stuff he wanted to know instead of researching first

Yea i always found that weird. I've been listening to TBC interviews for the longest. Every so often they would bring an up coming artist in and CTG would say something along the lines of "i dont know who u are....i havent heard any of your material" Im not a journalist or whatever but isnt that your job to do the research?

I also noticed homebody doesnt listen at all during the interviews. He would ask something thats already been discussed especially at the end. This has happened numerous times.

Man this takes me back Loved that song and video back in the day. The Ravens jersey with the White Headband, dancing all through the movie theatres and **** no joke that was a great record man.
