Rico Love always got good interviews. I got some of his music and it's straight. He just doesn't have a strong enough voice. I will check the new album though.


Young Dro interviews are always among the best. He's mad funny and he's honest. His second album "High Times" was wack though. Only a couple good joints on it. That new single though "We In Da City" is hard as **** :x :x :x

From about 06-09, Dro was killing everything he was on.

He had a hell of a run, thought he would be in a Jeezy/Future position, dude had it all.


He and Yung LA really pioneered that melodic style that all the ATL rappers use now.

I remember I saw Young Dro at "King Of Diamonds" in Miami about 2 years ago, show up to the strip club with just one friend throwing money around like it was nothing!

It was kinda dead that night, but once he came, it's like he changed the vibe in the club, and everybody started throwing money. Also, he was trying his hardest to get at one stripper but she never took the bait.

He seemed like a real chill guy though.

Stop putting jeezy on that level like he's untouchable bruh, that **** was literally a decade ago. Drop gangsta grillz and first album were amazing. Dude actually spit fire too smh damn shame he let 2 chains jack his lane ol lazy *** *****. If he had that work ethic I could definitely see him being a front runner in the a on that level. The advantage he's got over the tips and jeezys is he can actually put out bangers. That one single u need to get a buzz he can do it, out of the blue no big name features either, just can't follow up with good projects.

Don't think Dro is focused as he should be. I also think TIP knew he was more talented and intentionally held his career back.

Man dro was more content with doing the chittlin circuit tours , and banging strippers than making it bigger than he was. But I will always download and check everything he puts out. What ever happen to dro speaks , with the Kush dog and what not ?

This. He came out with big single with that killed summer 06. I wouldn't be surprised if TIP gave him that, it always sounded like a TIP record to me. And he just chilled. His verse on the Top Back remix had me thinking he was gonna go a run but nah.

When tip got locked up , it was the perfect opportunity for dro to come through and kill especially with ain't i, that song is forever remembered for dro's part. Day 2 went hard to me , and I am legend still gets played to this day in the whip.

Drop can do what jeezy and tip can't do post 2010... Make big singles. Wait without major features, anybody can get spins with jay z on the track (Ross and jeezy) and tip was riding Iggy and thug coattails for spins. Drop just got it but son doesn't realize if he took it to the next level back then he could really be the best thang smoking pause.
