Are you from the south? Have you been there? Spent time in the country?

If so, you'd know Jeezy ain't embodiment of no damn south.

People think south automatically = trap music

When its far from it. Thats just one perspective of a very deep and multi dimensional region.

I've spent a lot of time in the south, way too much actually. Its all opinionated and I didnt expect anyone to agree, but if I gotta ride out with a southern rapper for the rest of my days its gonna be the Snowman

But K.R.I.T. is definitely appreciated and is up there amongst the greats.  Dude's producing ability alone dwarfs the careers of a gang of rappers, Southern or not.

But don't ever say he embodies everything about the south again. Outkast embodies the south. From the trap to the church to the soulfulness to the race issues to the slave roots.

Jeezy embodies ONE of those aspects and now he embodies the south? I can't believe you a grown man saying this **** :lol:
 
if an artist doesn't get play in NYC then it's and he's not great.. and this stuff is wack as heck... i know the audience this music is for... the states like virginia, paul rosenberg and all those hip hop doctors up top signing dudes that put stuff like karoake lettuce and cucumber in their rhymes
 
I like krit's music but until he puts out an album that his die hard fans love plus new fans love ,he's going to be another great mixtape rapper. I think what we forget is that face and outkast were doing decent numbers plus putting out quality is music. People say what they want about cole but dudes putting quality music that's not trap or EDM and still going gold.

Hopefully this Cadillactica album will be timeless, and to be considered one of the South greatest, you gotta have an album that go hard 10-15 years later.

UGK's Supertight album still jam to this day and it's what, 20 years old.
