I don't think RDR was perfect like some of you guys but it definitely was a great game and worthy of a sequel. I also prefer it over GTA.

It definitely didnt age well.

hmm might be my memory but it felt fine to me although i will say that the gameplay was much stiffer even in comparison to GTAIV when the game released but the story of the game and the online features surely made it a great experience

The story was

mainly why I enjoyed it more than GTA IV and V. The online was surprisingly good too.

yah man the story was kinda slow at first because the missions were super basic like the farm stuff and herding the sheep lol but once the story picked up i was invested John Marston was that dude especially that ending damn

MP was fun too would getting into mad fights with other posses online

I don't think it was perfect at all.
I just loved the game very much.
Story and MP were great. Side missions and the DLC was great.

you on?

I never went by the Gamestop to grab the beta key
Thoughts so far?

Also, as far as RDR reminiscing, to me the strongest aspect of the game was how real I felt my interactions with random NPC's were, even compared to GTA V.
What I mean by that is, in GTA V the NPC seem like totally brainless dolls, who are just there for you to run over. But RDR created a much more engaging experience where I actually felt like I could interact with people I came across on the trail from one town to another.

It wasn't anything like a Skyrim experience, but I still felt like the people who populated the RDR world were worth my time, whether that meant tying them up across the RR tracks or helping them escape some banditos. GTA V was a step backwards in that respect. NPC's might as well have not been there at all. There wasn't even a button to "say hi" to NPC's

Yeah im playing.

Its very reminiscent of games like unreal tournament and quake.

1 constant fast movement speed

One downside people could potentially gripe about is loadouts.

connection is fire for me

i still can't cant get past the earlier stages of RDR, Nigel West Dickens is wild annoying. Ready to dumb out on this dude.

Yeah man. it was legit insane.

I walked in, asked for a beta code, and they freaking printed one out and I left.

The nerve they had to give me something for free... i swear.

You walked into a gs to get someting for free?
Without them asking you if you wanted to sign up for powerup rewards, preorder 3 games, or if you wanted to purchase a beta code warranty?
Ducktales.
