Seems like people should just keep playing the old CODs since that's what they want so bad just leave the new stuff for people who are interested rather than say something is trash before trying it. It's been the same thing over and over the last few years whenever a new cod is outI didnt care for ghosts which wasnt too sci-fi and it was boots to ground, mind you...
AW was a solid first try for sledgehammer's first take on CoD... skill based match making made that game extremely rough on the connections IMO
Black ops 3 is very good IMO. It seems like a reasonable progression from Black ops 2.
I'm sure even if we got a 1:1 to CoD4, there would be PLENTY to have a hissy fit on a forum about.
Cant wait to see how poorly everyone thinks they did on the remaster

I realize this is gonna sound like Monday Morning Quarterbacking, but back in 07 I honestly did wish that COD4 was given a longer life cycle and just had new maps added every few months. If Activision had just kept adding to COD4 I would have been more than happy to keep playing for 3-4 years
WaW was kind of a step back, so the community for COD4 stayed strong until MW2, giving us a good 2 years worth of gameplay
The yearly release was totally unnecessary from a consumer/player stand point

I played th new cods I buy them every year.
For me is trash. Walking on walls all of that its nonsense. Battlefield is doing what call of duty should be doing.
I'm hyped to get my hands on the old joint because I like call of duty games I have always liked them I've played them since it was only the Thompson and the mp-40. However the new games are garbage.

All this new stuff has been recycled trash. It's for the kids who are new to shooters. They've put more emphasis on perks, decals, taunts, jetspacks, etc crap.
Hasn't been a good map in COD since MW2.
These older COD would have a bigger following, if not for all the hackers. It's played strictly by kids who like to have aim bot and move like the flash around the map. It's unplayable plus it's not even this gen.
Then again, I'm more from the counter strike era.
They finally doing it though...
Can't wait for the COD remaster and BF.

Yeah I know how the lobbies are on the older CODs on the 360 my point was more so what people keep wanting in COD has already been done

Well futuristic **** has already been done too. 3 times in a row now on COD. And also on tons of other games. If i wanted to play some Halo, star trek, titanfall type of bull crap i would go play those games.
and it hasn't been done on the new consoles
Give us a WW2 game.
Give us another Modern warfare.
Give us a Viatnam game.
Just something realistic for god sake.

Just throw ONE real cod in the mix on the next gen console I guarantee you it will CHANGE everything and then come back the next year with the future garbage watch what's gonna happen. The newer fans of the game have not experienced that feel yet, because these little kids only know the "future".
The reason they bundled this older game with this one is to test the waters, they aren't dumb they know they have to shift back.

Comparing the visuals to what modern warfare ran on PC at max settings on 1080p is freaking crazyyyyyyyyyy. The remaster looks like a new game, nobody playing CHAPPIE 4.
