I used that website to gather a list of GTs that were going to be reset but it's best you use this strategy now that they're being reset:

Add the gamertags you're interested in to your friendlist and then open the smartglass app. Go to the activity feed and keep pressing the refresh button. When a GT is reset it'll show up on the feed as "Example has been changed to Liquidbanana484787"

If it's a somewhat common word you'll need to be fast because everything gets taken within 3 seconds.

Word but only for certain tags it seems. For example I get an error when searching "stick", but searching for my real GT (stick2st) will show the profile. I'm trying to see if Belgium's way of adding a tag to your friends list and checking that way works better.

Are you sure it was a V1 gamertag? There's no record of it.

It's possible that someone has it on reserve. The first person to get to the "claim it!" screen gets the tag reserved for them for some time if they don't actually complete the name change. Reserve as in he can claim it any time he wants but others can't, even though it's technically still available.

Yeah when I searched it yesterday on xboxgamertag.com it showed the same profile/info as the example of your original post. I guess someone reserved it already .

In that case someone is reserving it at the moment. Unless he slips up and forgets to take it in time or decides not to take it you're out of luck.

Magician: $500 minimum

Beatles: $400

Uncircumsized: $0

Dong: $1000 minimum

Masterful: $125

Dictatorship: $100

Dwindle: $150

Prior to the reset, here's a example tags per pricerange (just random example, not tags that were sold)

It's all about the rarity and uniqueness of the Xbox Username since you can't make duplicate accounts. I used to flip Yahoo Username Accounts that had original words and symbols as well as capital letters back in the day for use in Yahoo games until they closed it.

I'd love to buy an Xbox Username Account of my actual First Name.
