gears would be a lot easier to do than halo. The games run on the same engine unlike halo( which was basically 4 remastered and 1 remake)

For gears all they would have to do really is just bump up the resolution and frame rate.

They put the porting the Gears games would probably be much easier. All three run on technically the same engine, all the games were on one platform.

Gears at 60FPS will be though

-Titanfall was expected to go multiplatform. The first game was a win for everyone, maybe the least for MS, but still.

Since we have zero gameplay, it is hard to call it.

I mean Platinum's games are fun but they seem to be for a niche audience. They are talking about how excited they are to be working with a Western dev on a big release, so maybe they hope the MS marketing machine and their producers guidance will lead to a hit. But i can't all it bran, not until I see gameplay

But it is a AAA game, so we'll see

If you don't know much about Platinum Games, they make excellent action packed 3rd person games.

They're games are most comparable to gears of war/god of war.

They're most recent game was Bayonetta 2, which won tons of awards.

But since it's on wii u, it didn't sell that well relative to xb1 exclusives.

thats where Ms comes in. They aren't going to let them make a super niche game. It's gonna have that normal platinum stuff, but it'll also appeal more towards the Xbox fan base. It'll have online, multiplayer, probably customizable dragons etc.

Probably not. The sequel was being worked on but Crytek has really really bad management. They'd rather go bankrupt then to sell MS the IP
