Im so sick of seeing items in $60 titles that you cant just unlock in the game by grinding.
Call of Duty is especially guilty of this.
There are literally more camo's to buy than there are to unlock by grinding.
Maybe im old school, but what happened to spending hours playing the game to unlock your favorite character?
Now you just pay an extra $3.99 to get it...
I'm strongly against microtransactions in full priced $60 games

They haven't exactly come out and said it, but Bungies comments over the past 8 months have all but guaranteed micro-transactions imo.

I think as long as they're not offering anything that gives an advantage over others they should be fine. If someone wants to buy skins or other customizations thats on them. I could care less as long as I'm not put at a disadvantage.

Like if they put the best powerful guns in the game but you have to pay for them that would be foul.

That's what I mean.. I don't mean skins or other useless stuff, I mean things that will give them an advantage over me cause they dropped extra dollars on the game.

I'm pretty sure all your gear, weapons, etc transfers over to pvp multiplayer. So this could be a big problem if not handled right.

Microtransaction in horizon irritated me. You go to the car store and find an awesome car. You want to buy it with your game money, but you can't. You can buy it for $15 for a stupid car pack or your can pay money for in game tokens.

I'm liking that MKX will have all the fighter variations unlocked from the get go. That game looks incredible.

How would I get access to the XB1 Destiny Beta? I registered for this like 2 years ago on Bungie.net back when they were just referring to it as access for their new game, but I doubt that still holds up.

Super street fighter iv AE is also free in 360 and only 15bucks to upgrade to ultra.

So I am on the fence about this gen. Leaning towards the One because of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
I did some research but not really concrete enough for me to decide. I am wondering do you absolutely need the new kinect to properly enjoy the One? If so, I may just stick to the previous gen for a little bit longer.

All depends on you.
I absolutely HATED the kinect
Now I use it every time I use by xbox.
"Xbox On", "Xbox invite party to game", "Xbox unsnap", "Xbox record that" are the main ones I use.
Unfortunately, the party system is really funky and 90% of the time, I'm in a party.... so using the voice command is 100 times easier than trying to figure the dumb interface out.
I also know people who rarely use the kinect and I honestly thought i'd be one of them. But In no way do you need it to enjoy it. I do believe it is a part of the entire experience though.
EDIT: I bought a tv mount that came with a "privacy sleeve" and its on almost 100% of the time. I ONLY use the voice commands.

Yea, and after a year or so of downloading free games with Games With Gold, you have a nice backlog for when their are lulls in new releases.

It depends what you like doing. I use mine daily. Xbox on/ turn off, record that, mute, go to twitch, watch this/ that channel. Now granted this may be patched in to use the headset on the future but who wants to wear one of those.
If you strictly wanna play games and not even plug your tv into it might as well get the 400 version.
