Good look. Is the kinect really that useless. I get mixed review from people about it but it seems like it'll be decent in the future. Plus I really want to kinect my xbox to my TV and change the channel with my voice

IMO, the main situation where I thought using kinect would make that action easier was the "xbox record that" feature.

Now you can do that with the controller.

Since the kinect was unbundled, I'd make the assumption that m$ will try their best to make kinectless xb1 users' experience almost as good as xb1 users with kinect via monthly updates.

Having voice commands makes various things easier, but I'm not convinced enough to shell out $100 for it(I got a kinect for free basically).

I don't feel that I'm missing out on anything by not using the kinect.

I've looked at reviews, user demonstrations, and ppl's opinions in this thread.

I look at kinect from a games standpoint. If it improves how we play games in a non-gimmicky, I'll cop it.

If you're looking at kinect from a OS functionality standpoint, then the kinect should be worth it for you.

To me it's a really nice novelty. Like Siri on my iphone.

I've got 2 and I'm forced to use one without kinect because my daughter can't keep her hands off of it.  Xbox One without kinect feels like your only getting 80% usability out of the console.

The game's humor is a feature that I'm really looking forward to seeing.

Borderlands 2's  had me dying at various points in the game.

I think I was just too attached to what it was original supposed to be. I was really excited for it. Just felt like an generic 3rd person shooter. I did like the weapons but everything else was meh

I understand. I've yet to play this game, but I have an unopened copy.

I thought that i'd be meh, until I played the demo. Which I enjoyed.

IGN is always in cahoots with someone so there scores don't stick as well as say gamespot's scores but a 9 from ign is very telling of a great game. Sunset overdrive just looks like a generally fun game. The customization is what has me so excited. That online squad setup they have looks fun too.

Honestly reviews just met you know the game isn't complete trash. Halo reach got awesome reviews and we all know how that went. Destiny is game of the decade according to reviews but imo it's just ok.

I've always hated on Halo because I was team gears of war but I finally got into Halo with Halo reach....I thought it was awesome
