Air Jordan 7 Retro “Hare” - May 16, 2015

Even though it's a retro + color way, I'd like to see the chambrays from 06 back on the shelf. Just a fresh color way, that I slept on back in the day. I slowed down on buying sneakers a lot over the last couple of years, but those I would go back for if they released...and possibly Hares and Bordeaux's, even though I got at least 2 pairs of both.
 
I second the chambray movement. I will never forget when I passed on the LAST PAIR, 10.5 aka MY SIZE... They even had one of the shoes on display in their front window. It was like a calling and I opted for the red 20s that I've now beat to the ground

Man the Chambrays was crazy, think it was like feb of 06 when they dropped.....the chambrays was so hot somebody stole off me in the process of me moving, couple years later like 2012 my HOMIE sells me a size 10 chambrays for $70 a little wear but they were still fresh and the box and card came with them.......after further review of the shoe and the price tag on the box (finishline where my mom sat and waited for mines) come to find out they were mines

I hope they do Retro the Chambray next year. I missed out in 2006 since they were an LS release they were difficult to get here in Houston.

Same story as the Aquas here guys, well thats my opinion. Heres my logic behind it. Since JB is doing the year of the 5's, 6's etc itd only make sense they retro quite possibly the best 7 in the year of the 7's. I mean we didnt see a grape 5 in 2012 or a infrared 6 in 2013 did we? And same rumours floated about Aquas last yr and they never dropped. I copped a pair recently due to knowing Jb just likes trolling us, but hey, if they somehow did drop you could bet that il cop again

I can't see these retro'ing this year, I can definitely see them returning next year tho for the Year of the 7s.

Will be doubling up, I have been wanting this shoe for far too long at retail. I refuse to pay $400+ for the CDPs

Awready got 2 DS pairs, and 1 pair too rotate here and ther. But yea I'll cop again. 1 of my top 5 Js.

Only 3 original colorways for the 8 model so why would they release all 3 last year and in 2016 release all 3 again for the anniversary??

Shoes made out of durabuck are tanks, they wouldn't be destroyed in 3 years. What's left for them to bring back out for the anniversary, Chromes?? They need some type of hype to move 8s since they always sit.

They'll bring out the Ray Allen 8s or some **** like that, look at the 13s they dropped a little while back. Although there was no pattern behind those, it shows that they don't mind retro'ing PE's like that.

Oh and that "durability" thing doesn't matter. You could still wear the white infrareds from 2010 or the varsity reds and they could last you for 5-8 years really yet they retro them again within 4. JB doesn't care about double dipping on color ways. Maybe next time they come out more people will be feeling them or more people want a pair or even a second so they buy again in 2016.

You're comparing pleather to durabuck though...

The 8 model isn't as popular as other Jordan's for some reason :\ so time will tell how well they sell in the year of the 8s. I personally love them and have all the black durabuck collection (Chromes, Aquas, Suns, Playoffs) except the Sugar Rays but people want a mortgage payment for those :lol:

Those PE's 8s were all exclusive to HOH and before those JB never released PE's retros with the players name on it. The record breaker 13's were limited to Boston and Miami if I remember correctly.

:smh: At myself for not lining up for those 13s back then but man I remember seeing about 15 deep in the hood at 6:30pm the night before release :x this was before the concord madness...

Hell just look at the Supreme Foams release... imagine Ray breaking the record today and JB releasing those :x
