Thank you Jesus. Schef is usually on his game and is probably one of the few sports media personalities that is correct.

That's the way to go and I do think one of the top 4 QBs slide to the 2nd (yes, I'm including Carr who some have as the top qb). Every year there's a QB that slides and this year won't be much different much less with so many QBs with no clear cut ranking.

How much would it take to jump into the the mid teens with the 33rd overall ?

Probably a couple seconds?

Depends on the player though, because even if all these QBs slip you have to feel there will be a run on them eventually.  So many QB needy teams even as you get further down in the draft.

Well the price has gotten considerably cheaper to move up in the draft these days..


To be on the safe side, I think: 33 + a future 2 + another pick in this draft should be able to get it done (say a 3rd or 4th)

Bears and cowboys both need a 4-3 3 tech badly.. And then there are a ton of teams with FS needs

Id fine with giving up a 2nd, a 4th and next years 2nd to jump into that 10-15 range is Johnny is there.

Usually, I agree. I don't want a situation where BOB drafts a QB he doesn't want like VY in Tennessee. Clowney is the "safest" pick, and most NFL ready.

Kid got pulled over and caught with weed in the spring of his Fr year, didn't make excuses or anything, served his suspension (2 games when he was a Heisman candidate going into the season) and never complained.  From what I've heard he'll go out but isn't even the type to be all about that lifestyle of being in the clubs, surrounding himself with knuckleheads but who knows.

the dolphins traded 12 and 42 to move up to 3 (raiders)

rams traded 16, 46, 78 and 222 to move up to 8 and 71 (bills)

49ers traded 31 and 74 to move up to 18 (cowboys)

falcons traded 30, 92 and 198 to move up to 22 and a 2015 7th rounder (rams)

vikings traded 52, 83, 102 and 229 to move up to 29 (pats)

Anyone's guess in here is as good as anybody's. Recent history probably paints a decently accurate value of what's been traded in the past, but heat of the moment could always overvalue or undervalue what's being given up depending on how badly a player is wanted. So, who knows?

With post the other day about the Vikings wanting Mack in the 1st and Mettenberger could be smokescreen, but is my ideal draft for the first two rounds. Just not sure I see Mack dropping unless theirs a big run on the QB's with the first 7 picks.

It's possible, I suppose ad Vikinngs would luck out if that happened.
