IE/LA NT Photography Meet-Up

Word. I'll be in Vegas...
same here.

if santa monica/ venice are chosen, might as well keep cruising south through the southbay. Palos Verdes has dope coastal spots to shoot at. San pedro has the korean bell ( some of you might remember it from Power Rangers) aswell as an old broken "highway" called "sunken city" ( graffiti spot). could provide somedope sunset shots.

Or north to the Palisades and Malibu.

There's a lot of hidden gems put here including Murphy Ranch or Paramount Ranch.

Yes. I only learned about it through photographer, John Divola. He did a series where he photographed all the vacant homes, both exterior and interior. That's where most of those black and white images in the article came from. Kind of sad they didn't include sources for those. (Or at least I didn't see any besides the lead image)

On a related note, check out his Zuma series.

EDIT: yo, It's pretty much the same spots I assumed, last time I went I just followed market street towards haight street and cut through a few streets, I came across a lot of dope street art and a trippy building with lamps, chairs and stuff 'glued' to it. It's a walk (2-3 miles) but worth it.

nah, we're trying to come up with a date where we can get more to roll out. keep checking in here though.

there's a meetup once a month in DTLA, some cat I follow on IG is always setting them up.

I'll try coming in here to post up and see what NT fam goes.
