I remember when Deron Williams used to be such a great pg back in Utah, arguably top 2 best in the L at that time.. It seems like he just fell off and I'm not sure if it's the ankles or what.. His handles were legit too

as others have stated, injuiries have hurt him, but I remember that article when Avery was his coach....and Deron was talking about him being a "system player". ever since then, NWTS

Some time last month during one of this thread's weekly top 5 PG debates, I brought up the fact he was not mentioned a single time. That's crazy when you think back to how CP3 and him were once viewed as near equals. *in before KLJ*

It's not that I don't get why it happened. I just find it funny how no one talks about it. And he ain't in Utah anymore so that can't be used as an excuse.

...which leads me to think that maybe being the "other team" in a market does have its benefits.

Pardon my ignorance but I wanna know something.

When you guys say "LeBron stan" or "Kobe stan" how do you pronounce it?

stan as in the Eminem song?

Yea man, Deron was definitely on par with CP3… He had great size, great jumpshot, assist/to ratio was great, great decision making, pretty good rebounder, and decent defender… He's playing ok, but far from when he was dominating most point guards in the L. His crossovers were too smooth..
