I want Toronto to succeed but they have no chance at beating the Nets unless a 3rd player plays above his ability. Jonas or Amir has to beast down low every game.

it was more acceptable to believe in the earth being 6000 years old back then than it is now, he would be fine

blake would actually be more entertaining in the 80-90s, he wouldnt be on a team with cp3 so he would never learn how to flop
Come to think of it Blake would be nice depending on what team he was on during the 80s-90s. I'm talking this season Blake with CP3 hurt. I believe he could do work then.

I'm rooting Raps all the way there. Holding it down for the North. Would love to see the Grizz win in the first round too

Don't even know why so many fans of the NBA are infatuated with that WWE style of basketball. That is not real basketball but I digress :rolleyes

Yeah, no way a PG that has the ability to run an offense like Paul, that can shoot like Paul, that can pass, defend, and play like Paul could succeed in a tougher era.

As mentioned, these guys flop and sell calls because they get away with it.. not because they're inherently softer than the previous generations.

:smh: that's how he gets down. Expect to see 30mpg for Butler and Fisher old ***** too. I still got us in 5, maybe 6 if Lee/Miller/Conley has an unconscious from the perimeter game. Thunder's defense is infamous for over helping to clog the lane and giving up 3s. Luckily for us the Grizzlies are 19th in % and dead last in attempts) so y'all can have those. Tayshaun Prince shoots a worst ts% than Kendrick Perkins

Lucky for you guys, Prince is to Joerger as Perkins is to Brooks. Memphis will give themselves a much tougher time because Prince will play too much. But, if OKC tries to match up with us rather than playing their own game, it may not end well. My advice for Joerger is to limit Prince minutes to 15 a game and primarily play TA, Miller, Johnson and miller.

Seriously.

I hate flopping as much as the next guy but save all that fake tough guy ****, basketball is a finesse sport.

A lot of those Pistons plays ain't basketball plays, I care more about Zeke flourishing than them raping Jordan, that **** was never respectable.

Playing tough Physical Basketball is "WWE Style of Basketball" ?

Not sure if serious

Well now we got 3 Perkins' (veteran guys who are going to continue to get minutes no matter how terrible they are playing ebcause at some point in their career they were members of a championship team), with Fish and Butler. They all make a nice play here or there, but I mean ****, can PJ3 get a look real quick? Nah, let's put Fisher on Tyreke Evans, that makes sense. Hopefully Adams gets lots of minutes this series but I'm not holding my breath.

Pero Antic says hi. And then you think he'd be a bruiser looking at him but he's out there shooting Dirk fadeaways from 3

So taking players completely out the air with their forearm as they are trying to make a play at the rim is basketball?

Taking a player's head off on the break is basketball?

There's a difference between being physical, and not playing basketball. That shenanigans that the bad boys were doing was not basketball. That "defense" that teams in the 80's were playing, that level of physicality is not basketball.

The NBA is plenty physical now. The issue is how it's officiated. But that stuff in the 80's? Please man, that's straight up wrestling.
