They got Derrick Rose in a full body cast, in a wheelchair in the Bulls gone fishing pic.

Harden was the backup PG they needed, unbelievable how bad they screwed up the team.

They didn't screw that up at all. Harden wanted out and wanted to be the man on his own. They couldn't pay him the max, so he dipped.

Reggie Jackson is a solid replacement for him outta nowhere, and when lamb is ready... He'll step in and be good.

I would never question okc on developing talent. Their track record is too good.

OKC needs to sign gortat during off season , try trade westbrook+perkins+ a bum for rondo and avary bradley and they are a true championship team .

fire brooks as well

Trading for two players who can't shoot and aren't scorers to put more pressure on KD [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]

No point of trading for Bradley. Undersized 2. He can shoot but he isn't a deadly shooter.

Rondo wouldn't work. You would need a SG who can shoot for it to work. Like Affalo. Perfect fit. Gives you D and O.

No need to sign Gortot.

Lamb
PJ3
Adams

Should all be getting meaningful minutes and not racking up DNP.

There's no reason with a playoff game on the line that Perkins should be getting minutes.

Nah. Lamb not Gon develop. Brooks won't let him.

bradley cant shoot ? are you serious ?

if there are 2 pgs that fit durant its wall and rondo

Nah. Cp3, Kyrie, Wall, Curry, Lowry.

All okc needs is new coach
Deadly shooters
And some guys that can bang down low

For what? As long as Westbrook is PG they won't utilize any of the help.

Thunder need an backup pg who compliments Westbrook you can play them together in late game situations to stabilize the offense.
And of course another shooter can never have too many.

Jarrett Jack.

They couldn't pay Harden, or chose not to pay him for fear of the tax. Lamb and co ate sure developing well sitting on the bench the entire playoffs.

The only reason OKC players develop is due to injury or trade or having to start.

Lol, that has nothing to do with development buddy. That's just opportunity and being ready when the time calls for it.

If you think Okc isn't a good organization at scouting and developing talent... Then Idk what to tell you.

They got Kevin Martin so they agreed.

Plus they chose Ibaka over Harden.

Should've been Harden, KD and Ibaka. Jarrett jack @ PG and Larry Sanders @ C

The are great at scouting talent, but when it comes to paying that talent so far it's a different story. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they trade or let Reggie Jackson walk when it's time for him to get paid.

Don't matter tho. Trading away a young star for no assets, Durant, Russ, Ibaka, Butler, Jackson should be enough, right?????

fire brooks as well

Or just replace Perkins with a serviceable big man and fire Brooks?

They paid kd and Russ.. Gave Perkins a bad deal.. Paid ibaka

And offered harden 4 years 55 mill when the max they could have given him was 4 years 58.5 or something.. Also harden wanted a no trade clause included

Yea it should be but when you have am incompetent coach at the helm all the results don't go as they should

Harden wanted a no trade clause because he knew they were going to trade either him and/or Ibaka after 1 or 2 more runs at it anyways, which Presti somewhat alluded to in his exit interview last yr when he talks about how they tried to sign Harden but it wasn't "sustainable" long term even if they had.

So a measly 3.5 million dollars was the reason they ley him go? That's even worse.

Cheap owner sells young stud (Harden-Joe)
Pays enough to be within top 10.

But Durant, Russ, Ibaka all prime, 25 and under, not 31-33 like Nash.

Yet, you seem to be implying OKC should have kept Harden for success.

But not keep 24 year old Joe huh? That one wasn't a big deal, at all.

Hmmmm

Perkins has value defensively in this series,

unfortunately he's not a threat on the offensive end...

Oddly enough,

they have a center than is athletic, draws fouls, is a beast on the offensive boards...and Brooks ain't playin' him.

They should have kept Harden over Ibaka. They still have enough as constructed to win this series and the West.

Just better coaching would do wonders for them. Nice try though.

Or they should have kept both and amnestied Perkins
