The Thunder have the Mavs pick at 21. Will he fall that low? And yea, presumably whoever we ake will be in Tulsa (D League) anyways barring major injuries to the depth chart in front of them. Presti even tells guys that before he works them out, some like that guy Muhammed Jaieth, straight be like

So, I didn't watch the OKC-Memphis game yesterday, but I heard a dude on the radio making a huge deal out of Joey Crawford taking the ball away from KD and running to the scorer's table between two free throws late in the game. Was it really that significant?

I agree, from a pure basketball standpoint. It just lacks a bit in entertainment value to me, which kinda swayed my rankings a bit..but that's moreso due to the Nets rather than Totonto.
I'd have to agreed the Toronto/Nets series just doesn't have that WOW factor but its been a good series so far.

I dont think so, it was actually rather funny because he (Joey Crawford) was so pissed and was yelling his *** off

I think more than anything, everyone was trying to understand why he was so angry

I agree he could've waited but KD hadn't even attempted to shoot yet so I don't think it should be considered icing him

Between his 1st and 2nd free throw. KD would miss the ensuing free throw (correlation, not implying causation but some would say he iced KD)

It was a few minutes. He was yelling at the scorekeeper because the top screen didn't correctly reflect that Memphis had 5 fouls, said 4. He was yelling all game at scorekeepers, fans, other refs, everyone.

While I'm stealing gifs though, last night's game winning attempt

3 yrs and a few months later, same "play." And Brooks had the nerve to try to deflect blame last night and say he told KD to drive and KD did whatever he wanted. And we deserve to lose the series anyways for Westbrook showing up in a skirt.

Joey Crawford is a jerk and a terrible ref. Yelling at the folks at the scorer's table like that was uncalled for but what can you expect from a guy that yelled at a ballkid?

I heard some people say "when you are a 87% FT shooter, there is no such thing as icing him" . My opinion may be bias, but I don't think he was iced. He wasn't even in his motion to shoot the FT's and didn't even look up at the rim until Crawford ran to him.

73% this series. He's shooting them scared like he thinks TA is still going to block him from behind. He probably would have choked it anyways. I would have run a play for Rustle Jimmies there, or ideally line up like that same stack/pin down formation then have Ibaka or Collison just pop back for the jumper themselves. Both can hit, Ibaka even out to 3, and the Memphis bigs would be cheating hedging towards where they think KD is going to come off at and totally caught off guard.

Its hard for me to even enjoy the OKC/MEM series because I feel like I'm about to die every damn game.
