I'm just impressed brooks made adjustments against the heat..

For those who don't know, he started pj3 coming out of the half

According to OKC fans their GM is horrible though :smh:

Just the guy who drafted Durant, Westbrook, Harden, Ibaka, Lamb....

Be ready for the essays from bonafide hustla

I ain't eeem mad at him either

haa. i might comment a bit, but ive said my piece in here. i think I was one of the first to start the KD is the best movement. But whatever, ha. I just hope at the very least the Bron stans aren't copping out and trying to sit behind some of Bron's strengths in the debate as if KD hasn't improved tremendously in every facet of the game. i could touch on a bunch of specifics, but i think this game pointed out some of them. I will touch on that KD defense though. I dont ever want to hear about any lack of defense again when we're talking KD, thanks .

He was asked directly about it, said something like, "We just had to make a decision."

Durant was 9-17 with 23 points when guarded by LeBron James #OKCvsMIA

Durant definitely went at him, but there was also a few possessions where they were completely cleared out and KD tried to go at him and got nothing but a to out of it at least twice. I have to agree some are so excited to see his thrown being challenged or him being knocked off they are exaggerating. He still had 34 on 60%fg. But yea, KD is MVP right now

9-17 is over 50 percent. contested jumpers from anywhere, and/or transition. There were a few posessions of course nobody is gonna be able to just literally go at one of the better defenders, but KD was cooking him for spurts. Whatever we want to call it, KD wasn't being stopped by Lebron. Bron hit some tough shots, but KD was playing him really tough on defense. I hope the Bron stans just realize this when we talk about their comparison amongst each other. its like most people only give props to KD for his scoring when there are a bunch of other factors

This tells me enough about your NBA knowledge.

kinda inbetween on this. While there are some tough shots Bron is able to hit, there aren't a bevy of them like KD. To be honest, that step back coming off that drive seems to be one of Bron's better percentage tough shots. But to dude's point, let's not act like Lebron is just wet. Lebron struggles being able to hit jumpers from various spots on the court against certain pressure. as he said, the spurs exposed it.

So kd wasn't sticking Bron tough on most of his tough shots

But Bron was sticking kd tough on his tough shots.

Were in January let's see what happens in April may and June with KD.

i think Presti gets hate because hes signed Fisher twice and hes still kept Perk on the roster...

other than that, hes great.

and how did he draft Lamb?

nah, KD played Bron tough all game. Bron played KD tough all game. KD was a bit more unstoppable for obvious reasons...in addition to some of the team dynamics, KD was unstoppable. When his scoring stalled for a sec, he was able to find his teammates for super easy open buckets. When they started doubling/throwing crazy defenses and realized they couldnt keep doing that, KD got more open looks and nailed them. Both did their thing, but hopefully people stop acting like KD supporters are smoking meth when they try to talk of them in the same convo. Clearly KD is competing at just as elite a level. IMO, better. But imo. Worst case yall crazy if you dont agree that its similar in most aspects both sides of the ball

presti also gets flack for not keeping Harden in OKC. as a Rockets fan I appreciated it.

I'm so mad

Durant beat lebron the first time in 6 trys

Or maybe your just a prisoner of the moment and or a troll?

how is saying that Lebron can't be or play like magic being a prisoner of the moment?

or that Durant killed Lebron tonight?

How is that a prisoner of the moment statement? you must be really mad

You said it yourself in your post when kids scoring staled his teammates hit open shots. Nobody was hitting shots for Bron but I don't think anybody has ever said I'd isn't on that top tier level

I got a warning for posting back to you.so after this I'm done

 I said

"When his scoring stalled for a sec, he was able to find his teammates for super easy open buckets." for sake of an actual quote

The difference of this game wasn't KD out playing lebron it was the thunder being better then the heat. Nobody put the ball in the hoop and made shots other then bosh and wades 15.

Lamb was part of the harden trade.. So was Adams.. So was kevin Martin (we have a trade exemption from him still)

And we still are owed a mavericks pick.. Also was a a 2nd round pick too I think, but I'm too lazy to look up right now

Offensively KD was already better than Lebreezy since 2011. This year he's going for Lebron neck. Did Heat fan see all that 3s, step back jumpers and cross spin 1 footed jumpers that KD put on Lebron today?  KD clearly showed who's the better offensive player.

those Lakers teams had zero shooters to take pressure off of Kobe
it was basically Kobe going 1 on 5 all the time

Ibaka hitting open 15 footers vs kwame fumbling passes under the basket, not to mention ibaka's defense craps all over kwame
Walton doing nothing vs Thabo hitting 3s and playing defense
Smush vs reggie

Odom was good but he could not make up for a lack of overall talent or lack of bench and he did not exactly help spread the floor either
KD is a nasty scorer but he's not on the nastiness level of Kobe in 2005-2007. I remember dude had 4 or 5 50 points games back to back to back.

Meh.

Presti tried.

Harden didn't want to be there.

much more to it than "Harden didn't want to be there". Fam got an ultimatum which shouldn't really have even come to that. he wanted a trade kicker and they hardballed him. they didnt really believe he was the contender piece. and their money situation wasn't as bad as people were making it out to be. i mean look at who they have now. anyways...that article gives a full perspective

Tonight I was surprised by how the Thunder destroyed the Heat

Lebron had to get double teams to help while Durant didn't really have double team help when he was guarding Lebron

Durant had few plays where he made Lebron look silly. Durant is definitely the best player in the world

You can tell the Heat are shook. They got mashed on their home floor with the other team playing the Heat small ball style

None of the big 3 had a no show either

I've read that.

Lowe has a more in depth and nuanced analysis of the situation,

I wish more had read it.

Although, James wanted a chance to be the man on his own team.

He got it,

as well as a hefty pay day.

*shrug*
