Thats only 6 games though (EDIT: 7 after tonight's game), a very small sample size, but yes its very good. I even used the word outstanding earlier on this page.What a terrible loss

given the hype in this thread you would think he's putting up Wilt 61-62 numbers (50.4ppg 22.9rpg)

KD is winning that mvp this year, no doubt… it's going to be a good second half of the season tho for Lebron and KD, and the race will be closer than we expect...

You really think the season MVP matters? Guys like NASH has won it plenty of times, but what. DROSE won it, but then what? The media and the clowns look to it too much!! LBJ and DURANT are definitely both in the ballot, but it's obvious that LBJ has been playing superb in the past 3+ years w/ his buddies. So then what?
LeBron goes out in ONE game and puts up basically the numbers KD been putting up for over a month, and all of a sudden he's about to take the MVP back?
Guys that chase individual accolades are just individuals that can't win championships, and Durant is looking like that. I mean, who cares if you have a boys scott badge for MVP, let alone SCORING title. Come on now. Yet, the masses won't see it that way, cuz they don't understand!

LBJ has evolved his style of play, and it's evident. As much as I dislike LBJ, what he does for the basketball world cannot be ignored. Still, LBJ and DURANT have yet to enter the DUNK CONTEST, so they should be scrutinized!

to Durants credit hes evolving his game to be more like LBJ which is getting his teammates involved evident in his assist #s.
Im only basing this on the boxscore as I don't watch KD as much anymore. It seems like after the "Decision", they are just trying to find that anti-Bron in Durant.

The media used to criticism him now they defend his every move and lobby for him. I guess someone behind the scenes put n that work. Even when they lost to the thunder espn spent the entire day saying bron no help.
If he doesn't get MVP he will prob get DPOY to ease him over.

I can't see that happening. I understand they're playing well now and Kevin has been on a tear, but they also know that the game changes in the playoffs and they will need his firepower if they want to get out of the west.

I agree. Russ is one of my fav players but i still wonder if a PG like Rondo would suit the thunder better overall. But this debate been going on for years now.
Does thunder win a championship with westbrook shooting 18+ shots a game or a PG who controls the game like Rondo

Yup, the star power on this team is all thats keeping Scott Brooks from being on the hot seat. They alone hide all the mistakes he makes.

Rondo isn't better than Westbrook in any fashion, chill.
Don't let his inflated assist #'s fool you, there are so many times he forces passes like Russ used to force shots. He's not a better defender, definitely not a better scorer and has no continuity with the team.
I don't even know why I responded to that, there is no GM who's not taking Westbrook over any other PG going into the future.
