Hibbert is playing god tier defense this year, he most definitely deserves to be an All-Star. Maybe not as a starter, but you can't say he shouldn't be on the team given the state of the East.

And I guarantee he makes All-NBA First or Second team

I remember NT being really high on Faried. It's hard to see if he's improved at all
Agreed. He's still a defensive liability (other than his chasedown blocks) and has no offensive skills in the half court.

Shaw doesn't even really trust him. Faried is only playing 23mpg this year, down from 28mpg last year.

Worst thing is he's the type of player who's game will go off a cliff as he gets older/accumulates injuries.

Ehh, he's just good at what he does. Garbage man to the fullest. He's so good at what he does he's being considered for the National team. If you're considered by them, you're doing something right. Doesn't mean he's a complete player or anything. I don't think he'll ever really be much better than what he is but what he is is just fine. Maybe he can eventually become a Millsap.

nick young only has 20 more assists this season than kobe

kobes played 6 games

nick has played 42
Ty Lawson on the Ray Felton diet?
Mateen Cleaves approved.

This dude Lillard plays in Adidas kicks AND plays in the Rose Garden? Uh oh

damn nick youngs lowest apg year was when he was playing for the clippers (.5 a game)

i would have thought blake and deandre could have cherry picked nick young's shots for countless assists

was waiting for some sort of Shaq comment on Kobe coming back and helping the Lakers in that last segment on TNT, not a mumbling word from Shaq. Just Kenny and Grant talking...

Ya'll do this every year.

You should already know the fans are going to vote for the most popular players. Dudes like Kobe and Wade (to a lesser extent) are icons.

Hell....go on the NBA instagram and look at the number of international fans that don't even seem to know that Kobe is injured.

Exactly. I don't get why people, on here or on TV, even bother bringing up stats, good year/bad year, wins, whatever. You'd be better off discussing number of commercials and national TV games.

Reserves are another story because coaches actually are rewarding players for the stuff that matters.

is it just me or is portlant playing in a big game/matchup every day this week?

They have, and come to think of it... The Cavs have this stretch in March
