The entire S&T forum is now a "the official such and such thread". There are no individual threads about specific topics anymore and personally I think it's a bit *** backwards.

For instance, why isn't there a whole other thread for Mike Woodson's firing and Noah's DPOY?

ALL the news in ONE thread is a cluster ****, no?

We did Series threads last year and they were inactive to the point where they were locked because the majority of people just stayed in the playoff thread. There was a thread in General about this very thing and most people said they liked the fact that official threads got rid of the clutter that making threads for every single thing that happens causes
