Silver can't do anything, but the board of Governors can.why would it make or break him? OTHER THAN A FINE AND SUSPENSION HE CANT DO ANYTHING
im sure he will give out a good fine and suspension
Silver has been great so far, i expect nothing less of this situation. he will handle it well and dish out a big fine

Donald Sterling: Slumlord Billionaire. Printed in 2010 http://bit.ly/1kgp13Q
I don't think he'll lose the team either and they can't force him to sell, but they can definitely pressure him and I'm sure they could make the rest of his time in the NBA a living hell. According to Stephen A. Smith (I know, not the best source...) but players & organization feeling some typa way right now.he aint losing the team bruh
unless he made those remarks directly to a player on the team then he would be finished. hes racist, they cant make him sell or take away his team. it HIS business.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will hold a press conference tonight here in Memphis before Grizzlies-Thunder game
Popcorn is on deck
Athletes can have their endorsements deals reneged for saying controversial things. Can the same happen for the Clippers? Can Sterling have his tv deal reneged? If so I think that would be a major step in removing him from ownership, followed by other sponsors of the Clips.
The reality of the matter is,
aside from fining him, there isn't much the NBA can do to Donald Sterling.
There is no way they are stripping him of the owner tag. He'll get a hefty fine (100 mill), but he'll experience the true repercussions of this case when no future free agent will want to sign with the Clippers and they will forever suck. No one will start attending games and he'll just be losing crazy money.
Son.
How are Silver, the Clippers entire squad and staff, Clipper fans and the rest of the league reacting towards this? How is there just not like a mass boycott?
This flagrant racism. No dambs given.
The fact that it seems like so many fans are just brushing it off with the mentality "What else is new, this is who he is" or because he hasn't been fined/suspended before is ******* alarming.
Much less the players than the team, I'm sure people trying to sell their playoff tickets as we speak. He don't want minorities there, there's a ton of people that won't go now.
If the social media exposure continues and the whole Sterling racism blurs with the Clippers organization itself (it already has, just look at some of the comments/pics posted), if it will have a big enough impact on CP3 and Blake.
You gotta think that if Sterling and racism is synonymous with the Clippers, it will start to affect the marketability of those two stars and push CP3 and Blake to move on from the Clips organization
lance looks like he has totally tuned the coach out
Why the KingsIt'll be pretty cool when CP3, Jordan, Blake and Crawford all go to the Kings. I am interested to see how the Clippers will build around Jared Dudley and Matt Barnes though.
