none of the pacers players wanted to see granger leave for that bum turner. also releasing orlando johnson hurt the team because he was supposedly well liked, bringing in bynum for him sure didn't help

. bird ruined the team chemistry with his thoughts of "improving" the roster, should have just kept the team the way it was.

That would be so damn funny if Sterling keeps the team and they let every player become a free agent.

This is a legit possibility which is the crazy part. They actually can do this. Adam Silver already said he'd consider it.
not gonna happen, he would rather sell his team for full value than have it plummet just to keep the team even if he wants to keep it in his family or not.

but then again hes a billionaire so im not sure. hes probably selling it regardless.

ill say, theres zero chance they become free agents. actually, less than zero.
BS.

If Donald Sterling has created a hostile work environment either the players are going to be able to walk or get huge settlements.
how is the work environment any different than it was last week?

everyone always knew that hes a racist, only difference is now the public knows

I'm sure the stories will start coming out when their season ends

Thought the stories were already out with roy n paul involved in a 3 some that included their swords touching and then lance n evan fighting, i don't know what else could come out.

Very interested in the fallout of this Sterling situation.

Shame that its taking the attention away from all this great basketball, but the social implications could be good. Always appreciate the truth coming out even if its like this.

Definitely think him telling the God Elgin Baylor that he wanted "a team full of poor black boys from the south coached by a white man." was worse than this.

Probably took years off Baylor's life working for this guy.

I hope they do. if Sterling is going to continue to own the team, make sure it's full of bums.

LeBron, Melo, CP3, Blake, Diandre to Lakers this summer and K-Love next summer :nerd:

Nah, they're gonna go to actual teams. LAL will be marching out Dudley, Hollins, Barnes and Big Baby. I think "a healthy Kobe" and Sacre will take them where they need to go.

Actual teams...

Like the Rockets?? lullz

Paul George is averaging 21.8 ppg in the playoffs. I don't understand this collapse, other than the fact that Roy Hibbert is now a cone

This + all of the off the court stuff PG dealt with.

I'm curious about the sterling confrence.i underestimated the effect of social media

I still don't think the force him out. Just suspend him for a year or two.

Cant imagine that other owners wanna set the precedent that something they say while recorded without knowledge can lead to selling a team. I'm sure a lot of these guys have political opinions that would offend many

You guys think that sterlings gonna lose his ownership due to this? What will happen?

The league said there will be a "very harsh" punishment.

People actually blaming Granger leaving? How is Granger responsible for Hibbert not being able to score or grab a rebound? You don't go 46-13 off the presence of a bench guy that hasn't got much burn in 2 years.

So are we giving CP3 another pass this year if they don't survive the first round? I can't. Funny how the Clippers players cry ignorant to knowing Sterling was a racist when I knew about it and Im just a random dude from the East coast. No excuse for a first round exit IMO.

I can't see anything beyond a suspension and heavy fine today.

Maybe after their season is over, an ownership change is initiated.

Even if an ownership change is initiated, there is really nothing that can happen w/o Sterling's consent.

MLB forced out Marge Schott partially because she was doing some shady things with taxes/wages. That was the loophole they needed.

If Sterling is doing what he as to do as far as keeping clean records, I don't know what they can do to force him out. As I was saying before, the best bet for a change is to hope that he dies soon.
