literally no one would be talkin this run's players into the ground thing if we had a little scoring to help get w's

the wiz couldve swept chicago(Basically did) BUT with a sneeze of actual CONSTANT offense they couldve been swept EASILY
I'm just saying...  You pass it off as no big deal, but Popovich, who is the smartest coach in the league clearly thinks it is very important.  Why is it so easy for you to dismiss that criticism?

g pop is amazing period
but if he was coaching chicago he would have a hard time finding points too bro...chicago just cant put the pill in the bottle .... hopefully its a issue fixed in the offseason starting with offing "AND-1 boozy"

That Bulls roster doesnt allow for any rotations. This starts and ends with the cheap ownership for me. They had a guy who last year carried them through a series in the Absence of D Rose and didnt even want to give him the money, which wouldnt have been all that much to begin with, not to mention he was their best offensive wing player (probably best offensive player) at the time.

What is he supposed to do when he has a lack of consistent offensive?

One of the few offensive players he has he benchs during the 4th to run his "defensive line up".

He has Jimmer rotting away on the bench.

did you see what he did when he got 4th Q burn?

showed exactly why hes pasted to the pine... couldnt score for ****...couldnt defend for ****....DIDNT box out for ****,..... couldnt get a reb for ****....had gortat looking like tyson chandler during the mavs title run the last 2 mins

I'm not disagreeing with that. Just the issue of rotations in this case.

I mean maybe Thibs let his pride get the best of him in going for that 3 seed. Wouldn't they have been better off resting players more/experimenting with bench guys and then settling for a 6 seed? Without everyone being worn into the ground?

I don't come in here often, mainly because the thread jumps 40 pages every 10 hours and I can't keep up , but EVERY time I do come in here, it seems like 100027 100027 is talking down on Thibs. You really don't like him and the Bulls huh ?

that i FULLY agree with... once they signed huff james, ronnie brewer & lu audmson i was sure the last 2-3 games would be getting them burn but it never happened & they never saw real pt

Son had his suit on all year after half time, of course dude is gonna look like trash.

He's a defensive liability, you can't keep him on the court in the 4th if he's not going to defend.

I wonder how would Westbrook be if he played on another team as the true #1 option.

Like if Memphis traded Gasol for Westbrook and played Westbrook next to Conley  .

I honestly don't hate them. It's not like Melo .

I just think the Thib-genius narrative is a little premature and needs some holes poked in it. And I got a little tired of the Bulls praise from Grantland this season. I listen to their podcasts and it was endless from Simmons.

Thibbs could just stagger line ups the way Carlise does with Dirk if he doesn't want to outright rest players like Popovich.

Boozer is absolutely infuriating to watch. I was getting pissed at him and he's obviously not on my squad, so I can only imagine how you Bulls fans must curse him out on the daily.

Also, Nene straight ABUSED Noah all series. Can't believe how much they were playing off of him outside of the key. That mid-range was there for the 4 games he was playing in.

If you would have told me that Randy Wittman would have outcoached Thibs before the series started, I would have laughed in your face. Randy was great. You can tell that each guy on the team has bought in to what he's been teaching. They are gelling at the right time.

But according to @sea manup he's a legit go-to scorer for the Bulls. Boozer should get a bulk of the crunch time touches, he says :nerd:

Well if you look at the awards voting it's clear a lot of press guys have been on their jock. The Noah MVP votes were just insane. But yeah that's mostly been through the Grantland prism.

I mean you had guys voted top 5 in MVP, DPOTY, 6th man, and COTY for a team that was clearly 2nd round at best, in the east. I think there is some wider media overhype there.

There are only ten players left who can be amnestied, and only two of them will be (Perkins Boozer)

BHZ said it before the playoffs and I agreed, if the Grizz are serious about retooling they should amnesty ZBo

Jamal Crawford is the winner of the 2013-14 Sixth Man of the Year award, according to @ESPNSteinLine.

Congrats Jamal Crawford on the 6th man of the year award

What??? LMAO! Boozer is only good for unintentional comedy....AYYYYEEEE....ANNNNND 1.....AAARRRRGHHHHHHH

Bulls got so much love from the media cause they were the "scrappy team full of heart when their star player went down and made the playoffs".

Look at the staff picks on ESPN. Straight disrespect to the Wizards. Wizards were 2-1 vs. them in the regular season, but that **** didn't matter apparently. THe only bulls win was because Nene had a dud of a game and they (bulls) were uncharacteristically hot from 3pt range. Bulls were supposed to mop the floor w. the Wizards BEFORE the games were even played. A fool laughed at my prediction of having the Wizards win in 6 b/c he fell victim to a lot of the hype surrounding the team that "no one wanted to play." As a b-ball fan, I love the scrappiness and heart the Bulls play with. However, that narrative COMPLETELY changed after game 2. It was moreso of why the Bulls are struggling, rather than how the Wizards exploited them.

Did I feel like the Wizards were disrespected? To an extent, yes. It's only now they're getting their due. I'm glad that people can see this team for what they are. It's a team of character guys, who play the game the right way, and are easy to pull for. Water under the bridge now and I'm happy that they have a few days to rest before Round 2.

*edit*

Taj Gibson as a starter will be a PROBLEM next year. That's assuming he's not traded for Melo in the offseason. I would love to see him flourish without that bum Boozer on the roster. No reason for this guy not to average a double-double. He's so underrated.

Supposedly, Zbo is animate about taking a paycut because he wants to retire a Grizz. I feel the type of paycut I would want him to take will not be enough for the Grizz to retool. If Zbo was willing to take somewhere around $8-9M a year and the Grizz trade Prince's expiring contract, then they would be in pretty good shape.

Depending on what happens to the Grizz in the playoffs, the decision will rely on whether or not Zbo takes a good enough paycut and if the Grizz can move Prince's expiring deal. If ZBo picks up the option on his deal, then Memphis needs to find a way to move him or amnesty him.

The FO will have some tough decisions to make. ZBo's contract, trying to move Prince's expiring, whether or not they want to re-sign Gasol (at the age of 30) to a market value deal....

So, since Jamal Crawford received the 6th man of the year award, he will end up having the worst playoff series of his career next round and his team will lose?

No hate but Jamal Crawford shouldnt have won it AGAIN. I dont think this award should be about multiple winners, especially in this case when hes of clear starter quality.

We overachieved this season after Rose went down and our back court got exposed by Wall/Beal in the playoffs. The better team won, simple as that. Congrats to the Wiz, you guys deserved it and hopefully they can keep it up for the remainder of the playoffs.
