not trying to see the refs take over the game.

Lakers doing some major hustling tonight. I admire that. They're still some POS, but some POS with hustle

how was that a foul on hill?
I need an explanation on that call. How does another dude go over your back and it's a foul on you? Is there an NBA rule I'm not aware of?

The Lakers have too many dudes who start chucking and play selfish when things break down. Basically they have a bunch of dudes who try to play like Kobe, but none of them are Kobe

Dwight doesn't have the innate offensive ability of other great centers and likely doesn't have the focus or work ethic either.

We should have stopped asking him to be Shaq/Ewing/Kareem 5 years ago... but he should be better than he is. The problem is he never developed anything consistent out of pick and rolls... you don't respect his shot, so he's not going to beat you as a face up guy away from the basket. He doesn't have the footwork to beat his guys in the post. He doesn't have the strength to just bully guys either. If he just went with the pick and roll, and used the post occasionally to get a couple quick dribbles and spin to the basket or hook shot over his man, he'd be golden. 20 a game, 13 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and you're good.

If people just accepted his weaknesses, we'd all be better off, I haven't expected him to be anything more in a few years.
Nobody said he had to be like those. At least I never looked at it that way. From his sheer size alone, he should be a dominant player in the mold of his own game. In my opinion, he plays smaller than his body frame indicates, and that's the real crime.

key word: aggressive. All those dudes were big with the exception of Bradley, I just threw him in there because of his height (that he NEVER used to his advantage). That goes for anyone. Granted none of those guys were as great as Shaq but being aggressive accounts for something. Dwight needs to be more aggressive period. If he commits to being a real center and not smedium man, he'll be fine. This is the only thing that irritates me about his game.
But my point was that even if he is that aggressive like shaq was, it was easy for shaq to be that. He was so much bigger than every other center he went up against. The same can't be said for Dwight. If he were more aggressive sure he would get more touches, but what good would that do? He doesn't have the ability to do much with the ball. In that regard, I think we can both agree that he's severely limited. IMO Shaq was too, but had a patent jump hook that he would always go to. Dwight doesn't have that, and he doesn't have shaq's size either.
Dwight is really athletic and can jump through the roof, he has a skill set to do something besides that robotic pick and roll. I don't even get on him about getting more rebounds, he gets a lot but if he wants to he can really dominate the boards. It's all about will with him. I often think, how does he not average more boards in a season than Rodman did? He's way more phyically gifted but he doesn't. I looked at it and in his prime, Rodman's LOW avg rebounds in a season is 13 I think. Crazy...

Harden will have a short prime and decline fast as hell..

Don't know if I'll go that far, but I'm not a fan of his. He doesn't do anything "superstar" worthy to me except get to the free throw line a bunch. To his credit, that's a skill, a huge one at that.

But he isn't a good shooter, and isn't an outstanding finisher to me. But like I said, a lot of that is negated because of his ability to get to the line. He also turns it over a ton. Solid playmaker.

Just not a fan of his. Plus he's boring to watch  all he does is try to get a free throw
