Magic is one of the 3 or 4 greatest players in history.

CP3 is tremendous, he is not Magic. He's Isiah, Stockton, Nash in terms of playing the position, great, but not Earvin.

6-9 point guards just do not exist. Magic is the equivalent of having a 6-2 Center dominating the league.

Just because he's tall doesn't make him a better PG than Chris, that's the dumbest **** I've heard

We just broke down how's he's better in a tangible/statistical matter and you come with this.

Chris is also better than all those guys you just named so that's pretty irrelevant too. We going to say Yao was a better center than Hakeem because he was damn near 7'6?

My God you literal dudes need comprehension skills.

Pretty sure id doesn't say Magic is the great only because of his height. Do you see it say that in there somewhere?

I brought up his size, joked about a center being short, and that they are rare, but I did not list it as the reason he's great. Come on.

We have Lakers fans still salty like a jilted lover, Sactown fans that feel that by tearing down Dwight they can prop up Demarcus Cousins (!)
sorry but we don't have to say a damn thing about Howard to help Cousins out on that one.

go ask every Coach/GM/owner in the NBA who they would take if they had the choice today between Cousins and Howard.

I said 25+, he isn't at 25+. And when the season ends in 70 games from now he's not gonna be at 24 either.

I never said he couldn't give you good volume, I said he couldn't go from never averaging 20 over an entire season to giving you 25+ (elite volume) all in one season.

In the end, he'll settle in right around 20-21. Good volume, but not anywhere close to what he was putting up when I made that post.

still evading your og statement or you're smoking dope to take Harden over him when Harden is Ole'ing on defense, but just to entertain the convo: his scoring ain't going nowhere bruh. he's averaging 18 shots a game, 6- 3 pointers a game. lol, where is the scoring for Indy gonna come from?
I still take Harden. I value elite scoring ability over just about anything and Harden's defense is 100% effort related, which can easily be fixed with the right coach. We've seen it with Rose, Zach Randolph, Ray Allen and others

And Roy Hibbert can and most certainly will get more touches as the season progresses. Indy's guards have straight up ignored him in several games to start the year, last night is a glaring example.

so magic is the best point guard in history because he's 6'9?

and actually, that would be more like a 7'10 foot center dominating the league (being bigger than everyone at his own position)

is his skillset unique for people his size, yes. is he a better PG because he's 6'9, no.

I didn't say he was the best simply because he was 6-9, merely a factor.

I went 6-2 cuz 7-10 just isn't human.

6-9 is tall for a short position, I went short for a tall position. That was my thought process at least.

imagine a 6'9 chris paul :nerd:

So you need a Laker fan to tell you Magic's place in history?

You gonna sit there and try and tell us that Magic has been surpassed as the best PG of all time? You makin that claim are ya? Is that what you're sayin?

I agree that it is effort related with Harden, but I'm not sure how it will change when McHale is already your coach. I actually love Harden and favor him, but can't objectively say he's gonna do better on the Rockets than PG on the Pacers. I cant really imagine fam going from #5 in the league to falling off the map/radar as a scorer. But cool I may have followed up too early. I'll just let the season play out and revist.

Chester is good folk. And has an actual sense of humor.

His troll post warranted me joking with him in that manner, he knows I was kidding and wouldn't actually drive that way.

I wouldn't miss him tho if he did.

What are you talking about fam?

Magic is one of my top 5 favorite athletes ever, Chris Paul isn't even in my top 20 but at this point in his career he's on his way to being better than Magic and has been statistically up to now, you can try to dispute that with things that aren't facts or team accolades but its true.

Chris Paul career is far from over but if he continues this pace and doesn't retire early like he says he will, he'll be better than Magic. Only brought up you being a Laker fan because there's going to be bias in your views about Magic weather you realize it or not

i give it like 3-4 months until @do work son  and the rest of the HOU fans go from defending Howard to being like "man **** this guy, get him off my team"

if you ask them if they want a 23 year old or a 29 year old, yeah id imagine they'd prefer cousins off of youth alone.
