He shouldn't be out too long, at most two months. It's Derrick Rose tho, so 2 months might mean 6 months.

2months to heal. Another 4 to help his new meniscus get its memory back.

Depends...honestly could see him out 5-6 months with surgery...you can opt to not get surgery but it won't heal as strong. Plus he JUST got back from a bad knee injury so psychologically he's gonna need time to overcome that based off of the mental hurdles he had to get thru with the acl....his athleticism is gonna take a hit for a while so even when he gets back it won't be the same

Couple ways to deal with a meniscus tear. Take it out, you return faster but can shorten your career. Reattach it, miss maybe 4-6 months.

Meniscus tears aren't career enders, as Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook have demonstrated. I'm not sure of the precedent of a torn acl on 1 side and torn meniscus on the other though.

Yup. Probably wont be back until after allstar break though..maybe even near playoffs

that actually is a good game to have. but if that what he goes to kiss the commercials and endorsements goodbye. no one is paying 100 million dollars for that type of game.

people were questioning the muscle memory thing with the acl of rose and the mcl of westbrook. which are two uneven platforms. now that they have the same injury and and their games are similar, we can really qualify the muscle memory statement of rose and put him on the same recovery timetable of westbrook. westbrook was out about 5 months so if rose follows that same timetable it should be april, right around playoff time if he comes back.

I can see why CP3 just got his removed, hos style of play isn't really relied on being explosive so guys like westbrook and Rose probably need that surgery to keep the explosion.
