oh and tim duncan is normally great in the clutch

felt the need to pay homage to the GOAT PF
No doubt.  So are Tony, Manu though.  So were Steve Kerr, Robert Horry, Danny Green...  All kinds of random players have hit clutch shots for the Spurs.

I see what you're saying, not being that great in the clutch (due to FTs, or whatever) doesn't erase the previous 47 minutes in itself. But if the game is close and the team has to adjust the way they play to make up for or cover your deficiencies... that's a detriment.

If waiters is so good, and wall is so bad, why can't dion put up wall like numbers?

But no, I don't want to bring up that argument again, you know, with you being a point guard and all.

Oh, and reported.

Wall plays starters mins, dion never avg more than 30 mins a night, thats why hes not putting up john wall #s

Jalen Rose calling out Anthony Bennett with the lack of stats and the phone in hand instead of a scouting report...

Can we really say that Love, Cousins and Aldridge are "clutch" post players when 2 of them have never been to the playoffs and the other has been there, what, once?

You reported me for saying "get off my balls"....?

Not only does Waiters play with the biggest chucker in the league at point guard but he plays shooting guard and isn't asked to create for his whole team so his assist numbers ain't gonna be as high as Wall's.

For the last. Damn. Time. I don't think Wall is terrible, I just don't like his style of play and think he plays loser basketball.

It's often a certain type of underachiever that's defended on here, IMO.

Shoot-first, low-efficiency players, volume scorers, usually guards, often undersized.

I wonder what it is about that type of player that is so popular with some people.

Or maybe I just see it that way because I'm not a fan of that type.  But I have noticed it.....
Maybe they see a lot of themselves in a tiny guard who can put up numbers and hang with the NBA Giants. That was AI's number one draw.

Moving on there are a ton of watchable games on tonight. Looking foward to the OKC matchup, theyre still our number 1 threat in the west IMO
@Antidope how has Kawhi been playing as of late?

Julius F. Wrek
Great, especially the last week or so. Expecting big things out of him defensively tonight.
Who does the most damage for the Spurs tonight?

Julius F. Wrek
TP9 no question, especially if the " I dont want to fight over Screens" Westbrook shows up tonight.

I don't care if Waiters plays a full 48...he's NEVER going to put up #'s like John Wall.

The **** are we even discussing?

I didn't really report you

Last year dion shot the ball 90 more times than John Wall did. He made 12 more baskets. But dion can score from anywhere and wall plays loser ball

I agree. That's probably also why the human heat-check Nate Robinson is so popular on here.

oh yeah of course, if i needed a 3 to tie/win i would pick derick fisher over 97% of the nba to take it.

i thought the list was about people who ARE getting touches in the clutch. I would be okay with blake griffin trying to win the game for my team but as of now he doesnt get many touches in the clutch. If we were talking about who would I trust to get me to a win then im okay with putting blake in that conversation and i must have just misunderstood the topic.

honestly this may be nitpicking but a true team oriented pg doesn't do a 360 when he already has two teammates wide open closer to the basket.  that was some jr **** but hes a 2 so he can get away with it.  im not accepting that type of AAU "time to get mine" mentality from a pg.  yall might not think its much but stuff like that does display a losers mentality

I've seen Chris Paul take the ball in for a dunk on the break when he could have passed to someone else. Don't think anyone would call him selfish.

That's crazy he only shot 90 more times than Wall considering Wall only played half the season......

Cleveland fans are so embarrassing
