I love JJ Redick :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

was trying my best not to smile whenever I saw him shoot the ball against the Kings

I wasn't a fan of his before he got to the Clippers, but I've really come to like him. It's not just his shooting either. It's clear he's one of the biggest competitors on the team and I really like that. Goes hard all the time and doesn't back down. Teams need guys like that.

Checked out the Euroleague game on NBA team this morning. (Yes, I'd rather watch that than Pats v. Texans). The PG for Real Madrid looks like a thin Zach Galifinakas. Quality beard.

It's been a treat to see J.J. Redick's development in the NBA. He went from looking like a bust his first 2.5 years to now the third (or fourth depending on how you feel about DeAndre Jordan) best player on an aspiring championship contender. We all knew he could shoot, but now he can handle the ball and pass. And even defend at an acceptable level.

Much respect to him and Stan Van Gundy.

The thing with Reddick, is that he's really developed into a player man.

The M.O. On him is that he's a great shooter, and could move really well without the ball. But more than that towards his latter years in Orlando and in Milwaukee, is that he's become a really good playmaker and an underrated defender. His playmaking abilities haven't shown as much with LA thus far due to the obvious, but he's really improved his creativity with the ball and can defend. He can't defend at an elite level, but he is for sure not a mismatch on that end.

I made a similar post like 10 minutes earlier, but it didn't go through.

It's a shame SVG isn't in the league at the moment. He's got a nice track record of developing players (Redick, Dwight Howard, Marcin Gortat, Ryan Anderson).

Exactly, he went from a dude who had one bonafide skill, spot up shooting, to learning how to play off the ball, penetrate a little and finish, dribble dumpoff, come off screens, catch and shoot off screens and cuts, he's even turned into an above average defender... just little things that made him a complete and useful player in the league. Someone that every team could use.

(this is why I am still somewhat holding on to hope for Jimmer and don't want the Kings to give up on him |I)

Also, his pregame dunks were probably the highlight of watching the Clippers for me on Friday

What was he doing?
Nothing crazy, but he took a few lobs and finished with two hands, one hand, and a reverse, then tried to go off the backboard to himself like 2 or 3 times

I was surprised he was even trying now that he's close to 30

Derrick Williams and Mclemore in pregame are fun to watch too :smokin

Please Sacramento, let Derrick Williams be great.

With our lack of talent at the SF and the fact that we are going with the "young upside players plan for the future" thing, he will definitely have the chance.  i mean Malone through him right into the starting lineup and gave him 32 mins in his first game with the new team....

McLemore needs to develop his handle so he can show off his leaping ability in the half court

Dude can jump out the gym, that dunk in transition he had recently when he almost took off from the free throw line :x

Wiggins gonna be like mkg....good hustle player but the franchise gonna regret taking his *** so high

Wish we took Barnes instead :smh:

Tired of these athletic but can't create and shoot sf being deemed can't miss products

Barnes hasn't played well at all, he didn't play better than MKG in his rookie year, and he its questionable this year.

Harrison Barnes is becoming insanely overrated for basically like 6 good playoff games. :x

???

Barnes stats has increased across the board this year though.

:rolleyes

yea his speed and athleticism is something truly amazing.  his shooting stroke is beautiful.  if he can develop a solid handle its going to be scary

Morey wants to contend this season. First round picks for omer says otherwise. He has to be targeting a third superstar to package the first rounders with.. I think morey is smart for wanting two first rounders. Kevin Willis was traded for three first rounders, nuff said
