Or a small lineup with Bev/Harden/Parsons/Melo/Jones?

Either way Melo would be #2 after Harden

Harden is enough of a ball stopper on his own. Melo isn't helping that lol

And melo would start for Jones instead of sending Parsons to the bench

paul george might be the second most complete player (after lebron)

lance stephensons development and ability to initiate offense has tremendously helped george and taken the pressure off

nitpicky: agree that this would be a terrible fit, but disagree that Harden is a ball stopper...Melo is an ACTUAL ball stopper. Harden can actually facilitate, but falls into spells of hero ball. But his facilitation when focused is still good

PG is def top 5 in the league, but yall smoking sherm if you think he's catching KD. I'd say KD will catch Bron before PG catches KD. KD is only 25 and still adding to his game.

no. yall need to watch Durant's defense, which has improved, and stop this nonsense. no slight to PG

KD can catch Bron when he's about 28 or 29

It's beautiful that we get to watch two prodigies of the game in their primes together.

Probably have never been two guys blessed with the combination of genetics and actual basketball skill like these two men on the wing

I dont think that PG is better than Durant, but even Durant's improved defense isn't touching Paul George.  PG was 8th in DPOY voting (and probably should have been higher), Durant wasn't in the top 21 (Russy was 19)

PG has always had the star athleticism and the moves, but this year he made the mental leap. Funny, I would've figured Kyrie would do it before PG.

You ain't the only one, I did too.

Granted PG is obviously in the better situation team wise and has had far more experience than Kyrie.

i mean you're not waaaay in over your head to make this claim, but it's still off base

he's def top 5 at the moment. except for a few, i think most people seen it coming too, right?

Enh. PG is obviously a better defender. I think people are sleeping on the progress KD has made. He's gotten better on the permiter, but what I think people are sleeping on is his post defense. He guarded Gasol pretty effectively in the playoffs. Outchea banging with the bigs while still being an all universe offensive player.

and even giving PG the nod on defense, Kurant's the best offensive player in the game and ahead of him by a nice bit. I don't think he'll ever catch him. I'll take Durant's offense over LeBron RIGHT NOW with his newly added/still improving passing ability.

But what has paul george done in this leauge tho........................

Hes definitely PLAYING some great ball right now, let him maintain this for 2-3 seasons before yall start piping up.

where would we put Josh Smith (when not being an idiot) in this conversation?

find him camping out near the three point line with a defender daring him to shoot
