Cold City and Nawghty: Alexis and Mariah Woodson went to Georgia Tech with Shump. Rumors/reports are that Shump has had relations with one of the daughters. Both girls have privately and publicly pleaded with their father not to facilitate a Shump trade away from NYK.

Hence the understandable tough love and friction between Woody and Shump. Prime example, not defending him for a controversial foul call on PG24's last second three point attempt.

Criticisms against Beard: Still not even close to elite defensively. Struggled in the Finals against Miami.

The rumor is unsubstantiated. But if true, I don't like Harden partying hard and late with Trina in Miami while trying to win a ring. Celebrate after the job is done. That might have been OKC's best opportunity with Russy, KD, Beard, Iblocka.

I've actually come around to liking Grant and Jerry now that I've had league pass this season and got a taste of other team broadcast crews and production teams.

whats more important for you guys, having a good start to the rudy gay era or winning (losing) this key tanking matchup?

But that's not to say that I don't want to see Gay be effective and cut out the sucky habits he had in Toronto. An assistant coach was on the radio yesterday and they seem to be well aware of what went wrong with Gay in Toronto (he was an asst there last year). So I have some hope that it will work out.

Ideally we play great with the addition of gay but come up short in many many games while showing great strides in performance

I guess you could say, I want my cake and eat it.

There's nothing "wildly overrated" or "hugely disappointing" about Andre Iguodala. The guy has been one of the premier perimeter defenders in the league for a decade, a very solid #2 option, and a versatile player who can competently play PG and run an offense when he needs to.

Not everyone is a #1 option in the NBA.

What has he done to make you believe hes a solid #2 option? No team is going far with iggy as the 2nd best scorer

There's nothing "wildly overrated" or "hugely disappointing" about Andre Iguodala. The guy has been one of the premier perimeter defenders in the league for a decade, a very solid #2 option, and a versatile player who can competently play PG and run an offense when he needs to.

Not everyone is a #1 option in the NBA.

But on a really serious note this. An athletes personal life has no bearing on whether or not I like them as an athlete. Kobe cheated on his wife which is not something I condone, but it has nothing to do with him playing basketball so I do not care.

i honestly think the thunder's "best team" of the KD/russ era so far, will be next year..

steven adams will be in his 2nd year.. jeremy lamb, would have had this year of getting heavy minutes under his belt..

- ditto reggie jackson.. but next season is probably his last year with the team

then we'll have young guys to add to the rotation like pj3 and roberson.. then there's grant jerrett

durant and russ will be 26.. ibaka will be 25

there will be a possibility of moving perkins since he'll be an expiring contract at the year's end.. another 1st round pick (possibly 2 depending on the dallas pick)
