Really bad move giving up the Sac pick, if Cle overpays Deng in the offseason they gotta go down as one of the most inept franchises out there

When the Clippers signed S-Jax, Matt Barnes, Reggie Bullock and JJ Reddick were all out. They badly needed wing help. Barnes is back now and Bullock and JJ are expected back next week. There's just no room for Jackson now.

Deng is the kind of player the Cavs need. Good veteran leadership, defends as passes well, I like the move a lot for both sides.

All these top 3 picks the last 10 years and Deng is still the best one the Bulls made....

Bulls Don't have enough money to Move in on Melo as of right now they would have to get rid of more players.

But Even if Melo doesn't play I think them adding a Greg Monroe Or Evan turner and getting their hands on a Guy like Parker or Randle or hell even smart would be a good move for them.

If they could pick up Parker

Rose
Butler
Parker
Monroe
Noah

& Trade off Taj

If they could get Randle

Rose
Butler
Turner
Taj
Monroe

And Noah is up for trade who can bring in another all star IMO when packaged with some of the picks they have.. Picking up monroe/Turner instead of Melo would also allow them more cap room to strengthen their bench.

Finally news on Ryan Anderson. Out indefinitely with a herniated disk.

So...

His girlfriend kills herself because of him over the summer, he has a chip fracture in his foot that delays the start of his season, and now this. :smh:

Sucks. Really feel for the guy. Hope he gets well soon.

Melo taking a paycut, then they gonna go for k love in 2015

Bulls came out as the winners in the trade. They save money and still have an amnesty left for Boozer.

They still need to clear up some more cap space for Melo though.

why the hell would the Bulls want to sign him doe? Makes no sense....he isn't going to be bringing much to the table and Derrick Rose probably won't ever be the same again, so the Bulls will look like the Knicks this season.

Forgot about the minutes thing with deng. If u played fantasy last season u would know deng was leading the L in min played. Thibs been running him into the ground. Plus he is injury prone and 30, band aid like i said.

If the bulls can turn one of their picks into jabri, randall, gordon, or smart though :wow:

If Melo takes a paycut, it's because he's going to go elsewhere in FA...like Dwight or Lebron. No way he's leaving that much money on the table to stay w/ the Knicks b/c he has faith in the management to turn things around. C'mon man...if he stays in NY, he's taking the max. Not a dollar less.

Anyways, I like the trade for the Bulls. What foresight by their front office....I always compare teams to the Wizards, but it says a lot that they conceded that they need to rebuild and recognized that this is a good time to do so. They are going to re-tool with a great pick (of their own), and potentially another lottery selection. Couple that, with amnestying Boozer and this team will be in real good shape going forward. Especially in the East. The key (obviously), is Derrick Rose's health. Going to be interesting to see the type of player he is next year.

As far as the Cavs, the addition of Deng makes them a very dangerous squad. Deng is one of the best defenders at the 3 in the league. There is no doubt in my mind that this move SHOULD push the Cavs in to a top-4 seeding in the East by the time the season is over. However, a lot of this falls on the health of Kyrie, etc.
