you guys act like it was impossible for the miami heat to clear the cap space necessary for their big 3. they traded beasley for nothing, and only had chalmers, james jones and joel anthony under contract past the 2009-10 season. he didn't have clear albatrosses like Donnie Walsh did.

and in what world was james jones worth 5 mill :smh:

The LeBron part is the toughest part the Heat will face. Bron has played 3 straight 100 game seasons, + an Olympics, and he's not working towards his 4th straight 100+ game season, in the end, without homecourt advantage, the Pacers are going to throw George, Lance, Granger, David West and Hibbert in Bron's way, and absolutely wear him down.

Wade may be getting rest now, but LeBron isn't. He may get a game here, a game there, but when that Indy series comes, Indy is going to load up the entire roster on Bron, and make Wade be elite Wade and see if he can do it for a full series.

yep, you remember what happened to us man. 3 straight finals trips. that 4th year we were dead. swept in the 2nd rd. No matter how good a team is stacked, dudes are still human. age, fatigue, bumps and bruises, they all mean something.

Lebron is playing the least amount of minutes of his career. They will continue to rest wade until the ecf.

Since lebron has been in miami he has played less minutes per game than all but one of his seasons in cleveland. And last years playoff mpg was the second lowest of his career. So lebron is getting rest. Just not ad much as wade

Whether you like David Stern or hate him, this should be interesting. I'll watch.

That jersey in the background

:pimp: times 1000

isn't the fact that they have to rest dwade at this point of his career a problem of it's own? whether they injuries are real or not, it's pretty unfair to lebron to have him carry the team to rest wade. where's lebrons rest?

We know the problem with his knees, but this year, he has shown no signs of bad knees during the regular season, his lift is there, his shot is there, he's dunking higher than what he was doing last year. they want to sustain him for the play offs. which is very smart.
Lebron can hold his own....He may get a little tired, but I'm sure being that the east is trash this season, Lebron will get his rest during the end of the regular season.

Lebron isn't playing any more minutes than top players 2-10 nor is he playing with a worse supporting cast than any other superstar in the league.

I don't feel sorry for him. This isn't the Cleveland Lebrons led by mike brown

the Miami Heat Big 3 era is over after this year?

and no this isn't me saying Bron is coming home or anything like that. so quit that BS.

This team is not built for the long term.

If they fail to 3 peat I can totally see this team blowing up.

and to reiterate no I am not a Heat hater nor have any intentions to believe that Bron is coming back home.

Stern :pimp: GOAT commish.

I see you with the Jedi mind tricks :nerd:

All jokes aside, its not that far fetched to think the Heat big 3 could go their separate ways if they don't win it all this season. With Wade's health looking more uncertain and Battier and Allen getting older, LeBron may really wonder if his best chance to win more rings in the short term is in Miami.

The Knicks are run by someone who may qualify for a pass to the nuthouse, so no surprise there.

About to get a lottery pick this year too.

Kevin Durant :smokin

MAN, imagine if there was a center that was far and away better than whoever was the 2nd best center. I mean, imagine if it was like, instead of maybe Boogies being a clear cut top dog this year, and maybe Dwight the last couple years, maybe Bynum before that... you know, imagine that instead of there being a debate, there was one that was clearly better, year in and year out.

And imagine that dude w/ Durant. :wow:

And both of them coached by, say, Pop.

MAN!

I have no idea how successful a guy like Durant could be in that situation. All I can do is... just imagine. :nerd:

Scott Brooks is a better coach than Pop.

that could've been said about the last 2 years too lolll. if the team didnt win in 2012, that big 3 would've been over as quick as it started.

 had they lost game 6 in Boston 2 years ago, Riley would've blown it up. The big 3 would've been 0-2

Had they lost game 7 to the Spurs, Riley would've certainly moved Bosh after he scored ZERO points in the game.

The possibility of splitting up the big 3 has been very real since they blew it in '2011.
