As much attention as it gets, wade has played 30/41 possible games. Really injured or not, 11 games missed is not enough for someone with his stats, team success and impact to not warrant a starting guard spot.

Which is in essence what it boils down to. I think most would agree that he's an all star level player and has been that when he's on the floor, but he's literally missed almost a quarter of the season for rest. Can't give a regular season honor to someone who doesn't honor the regular season.

For someone as athletic as Nick Young...he rarely uses it. Too busy trying to be finesse. For someone who's dunked on Lebron a couple times...he shouldnt be scared of Norris Cole trailing him on a fast break.
