I'm not sure that if I'm on the other team, especially if I'm guarding someone like Perkins, that I wouldn't just go hard double/deny KD regardless of what coach said or what the scheme was. At some point, you have to let somebody else beat you. 41pts, 13 in the 4th.

Update-> Kevin Durant's last six games: 239 points on 85-of-132 shooting. That's 39.8 ppg on 65% FG.

As soon as Durant caught it ATL brought a double, KD drove away from it and hit a tough shot over the D. Nothing more ATL could've done.

The Hawks had a reliable lead during most of the 4th so they didn't need to, and then when they did try to double KD either hit the shot or got fouled.

Too good.

Not to mention OKC was moving the ball around well so there was the risk of someone like Reggie who was hitting shots to hit another big 3. Hawks were just outplayed, game probably would play out different without that Millsap travel though.

I gotta see the replay to see if this was feasible, but I would've sent the double on his right to make him go left. Make him just a tad bit more uncomfortable.

what is that quote LeBron said there is a guy coming for me and he is in OKC? i think Mr. Durant is coming for Bron a little sooner than he planned for...

Hawks had the lead the entire game, probably over 42 minutes of it (OKC 6-0 at home going into the 4th with a deficit, dumb stat). If you can keep the ball out of KD's hands for maybe 2 possessions when OKC is making that comeback (that whole predictable *** 3pt line post up where the passer has to take 7-8 seconds to try to figure out the angle to get KD the ball), I think you win. Thunder were also defending ATL's 1-4 pick and rolls stupid and kept making the PG switch onto Milsap which lead to buckets and rebounds.

On 2nd thought, not a lot you can do about this though, which is why you have to prevent him from getting it

Man.. When I saw we were down at the end of the 3rd (I wasnt actually watching the game).. I knew we would somehow pull it out
