I still think they barely squeak by Indy and lose viciously in the Finals. Then, the females in here will stroll out again and blame Bron for not giving it his all in his fourth Final in a row

Ugh

That's one thing I'm not looking forward to if/when the Heat lose this year.

The ACB's of the world gonna have the biggest circle jerk in S&T history.

DubA would probably be crying tears of joy for a week.

I agree that LeBron will have to be in Video Game James mode to get past this Pacers squad this year. Also Bosh can't have such erratic play like he has in the last two postseasons, because no telling what Wade is gonna give them come playoff time.
its a no win situation though

miami wins: heat fans have a circle jerk and whoever is NT's ACB of lebron crows bron as the greatest human being that has ever lived ever

if miami loses: ACBs of the world storm the streets like the lakers just won a title

if okc wins: the ACB of OKC fills NT with more stupid statements

@lawdog

Yea, I figured if we ran with the same exact team as last year that we wouldn't be able to compete with a lot of the top teams. Our defense was nothing like last year and that was one of the main reasons we won a lot of games. Now, our offense is looking more smoother with better players on the perimeter, Conley is playing at an amazing level, Marc is getting healthy, Zbo is looking good, etc. a lot of things are happening that I wasn't expecting this season, but crazy how a few acquisitions and health can change a situation.

I'm not all the way confident yet like I've been in previous years because I still think we need to make one more move. I think we TA gets healthy, he will start in place of Prince and the team will find a way to ship Prince off somehow. I'll know a lot more in another month, though.

In my lifetime, people who say the NBA is having a down year and/or boring generally fall under the following two categories;

1. Their team is bunz and/or extremely average with no real bright future in sight i.e. Atlanta Hawks.

2. Their city doesn't have a team.
Flawed logic fam

Nah.

The NBA sucks this year and it has nothing to do with my team playing horrible.

It feels like last year's story lines repeated; i.e. Kobe hurt, Westbrook hurt, DRose hurt, Miami cruising.....

..it sucks.

too many bad teams in the league. ive said this before, but some teams need to be contracted.

A "boring" season or a year that sucks is still better than Summer months with no hoops or a lockout.

There are always at least a few players or teams to entertain.

I really hope a healthy Grizz get another shot at a healthy OKC team because I'm tired of hearing the excuse about last year, especially since the Grizz couldn't use the same excuse in 2011 when they had Sam Young starting instead of Rudy.

At this point, the only team I fear that we cannot beat without making another trade is San Antonio. I'm pretty confident that with our defense heading in the direction it was at last year, better 2 way players on the perimeter and an improved Conley, they can give OKC hell and beat them. But, let's wait til around March/early April and talk about that again.

No way in hell the Grizz or Spurs can mess with OKC if all squad's are healthy, nothing has changed...

Your squad does not have enough scoring from top to bottom and/or people who can create their own shot.

Memphis might not be able to outscore anyone, but good luck getting buckets on them. They're a sneaky deep roster

Your team is bunz though?

I could ses it. Who on that roster will defend Durant tho?

Team effort. He's a generational talent so there isn't any one person that will defend him. You only do the best you can. Guard him with physicality, push up on him, force him to help, make him play out of a crowd, and go from there.

He's going to get his 30. But What you hope is that he's inefficient and that no one else goes off in an efficient manner.

Your squad has issues scoring on them because their offense is oriented around Harden too much, but when you have two people who can score consistently... OKC, Clippers, Warriors, etc. the Grizz will be fighting up hill the entire game.
