Lillard in the dunk contest?

And these TNT struggle games tonight just added more struggle with Parker and Duncan out.

TNT stay with the struggle double headers. Been that way all season. ESPN and ABC have been killing them.

But Inside The NBA >>>

Neither of those DNPs surprise me, that Wizards game was brutal for both. Guess TNT is going to see their lowest ratings of the year tonight with this and that GS Bulls game.

Cleveland is a mess. That Deng article talking about the team was revealing and only confirms what I already thought when Lebron was there.

“That’s why I should be Defensive Player of the Year,” James said. “No one has ever done this before.”
Toot your own horn some more, Lebron.. :rolleyes

Was this really a big deal? I fell asleep on the Heat game, did they talk about it or something?

I hate the Wizards man

I was at the game yesterday

Hopefully we can beat the Cavs and Kings
Win or lose I would have loved to be at that game, it was a thriller. I was yelling at the screen.

That was a real tough loss for the Wizards. However, it just goes to show how well the Spurs are coached and also how Pop puts these guys in a position to succeed. Funny thing now about the Wizards is that I expect them not only to compete every night, but also to win each time they are on the court. Say what you want about the East, but as of late, the Wizards have had some quality wins against some of the NBAs best. As long as they lock up a 3/4/5 seed, I think they have an excellent chance of advancing in the playoffs. That would be huge for the franchise.

he's definitely one of the better guys to be put into this position. can't take that away from him. He's a 6'9, damn near 300 pound, beast.

but I think the way the media/general followers of the NBA play this up so much is a bit overhyped. Scrawny *** KD guarded Marc Gasol all series in teh playoffs last year. I've seen guys in the past like Jason Kidd not be pedestrian against positions all the way up to the 4/5 in PnR situations. There are more people that can do it, Lebron is just on a team where he has to do it with some sort of consistency. Same with his "facilitating" and "passing" abilities.

It's not like Lebron gets caught up on defending 5's on bad switches or anything along those lines...he actually gets assignments where he has to do it.

Not for nothing, but when we do eventually see a decline in his speed/athleticism, I think he could make a seamless transition to the 4 and be a top-3 player at that position.

Not that I can remember, but I was watching the local Clippers broadcast, not ESPN. Yeah, LeBron guarded multiple positions, but its not like it was a dominating defensive performance. Blake had 43 and the Clippers as a team had 110, which is pretty remarkable when you consider everyone but Blake and Crawford were shooting like @#$%.

Cavs about to clean house. I just hope Mike Brown makes it through the season and not get the early pink slip during the season (again) :smh:

why do you hope this? he **** sucks

Well I think he got got a raw deal in LA, they we're foolish to think replacing him with D'Antoni was the right move. Should've been Phil or bust.

And in Cleveland, I don't see how firing him right now changes anything. That team simply isn't good. Even in the East.

I wasn't implying that he should've been brought back this season either. What I meant was Mitch should've gave him more than 6 games last year before he turned to D'Antoni. If there were any doubts about Brown being able to successfully coach last year's LA team then they should've made the move prior to the start of the season.

Why is this becoming a huge deal all of a sudden?

jjs07 jjs07 I hope you guys do make noise in the playoffs, I was totally wrong about that team and John Wall for that matter.

i'd rather him say that than some cliche BS about he believes he's a good defender and all he's focused on is winning a championship.
Well he hasn't been that great of a defender this year, he really only plays tough defense in big games. If you're gonna talk then you need to back it up every single night, not coast when you feel like it.

I don't see why he's worried about DPOY right now. Seems like he can't stand when people aren't talking about him (which in reality is basically never)
