if i ever see CP3 im gonna punch him in the face just because of that gif
DALLAS -- Thank goodness for the Dallas Mavericks that they landed a knockout punch on LeBron James when they could.
Then again, the Mavs’ title a few seasons ago at the Miami Heat’s expense helped create this monster.
Those 2011 NBA Finals, when the Mavs put on a clutch clinic and King James wilted in crunch time, forced the NBA’s most impressive physical specimen to take a harsh look in the mirror and work hard to maximize his immense talent. That series gave a major motivational boost to a man who has a reasonable goal to bump a legend off the league’s mythical Mount Rushmore.
“This team has been a reason why I am the player that I am today, because they beat us,” James said after putting on a 42-point, nine-rebound, six-assist show in the Heat’s 117-106 victory Tuesday night on the Mavs’ home floor. “When they beat us, I went into a place I haven’t been before in a long time. I went back to the fundamentals of the game. I went into breaking down every aspect of my game to get better, because I didn’t perform at the level I knew I could have or should have during those Finals. …
“The Mavericks are probably the reason why I am who I am today.”
That’s a force that the Mavs simply can’t reckon with, especially not when James is knocking down jumpers.
the CP3 one they didn't call. The Blake one im not sure, wasn't watching that gameDoes anyone know if the refs called this one or Blake's a foul ?

aint like they lyin
and whats wrong with a team having fun? its not like their in last place or anything....
This was funny
k and? all dat noise and they're not even the best team in their own division.
dem boys ain't winnin' NO RINGS.
When the Lakers come roaring back in the next couple season's we'll if they're still making jokes at our expense.
Win something, anything before taking shots at the Gawds. A good season is just that, a good season. Unless it concludes with them hoisting up a championship banner at the Toyota Center all that **** is noise.
16 rings, and they can kiss each and every single one. I'm mad we even dealt for Howard because I knew his simple *** wasn't bout that ring life.
all these teams, their fan-base, take your shots at the Lakers now, while the squad down. Get 'em in while you still can because that window is going to slam shut come free agency.

Why is it that we are assuming he hasn't reached his peak already? Offensively. Dude is already close to 10 years in. He is what he is. He is an athletic rebounder/shot blocker. GREAT at that. Nothing more. Just because he hasn't become at least good in terms of post work doesn't mean he doesn't work hard at it. I think we expect too much of him. Him being athletic has NOTHING to do with what his potential should be in terms of offensively ability. Being athletic just means he is big, strong, and fast and can jump. Says nothing else. Why not work on a sky hook?
if i was getting paid $10+ million a year
best believe id be in the gym every day/night working on a sky hook til it was perfected.
he would be unstoppable
he should have better offensive game for how well he moves all around, just MY opinion.
