Melo to Philly or Boston would be the best move for him.

Also to whoever said he chose money twice in his career, 99.9% of players in the league go where the money is on their first and even second contracts. Any logical person would go where the most money is at that point in their career.

I never meant to make it a bad connotation.

I'm just saying, he's shown a pattern to choose the guaranteed money over uncertainty-potential of basketball outcomes.

I feel like the Twolves wouldn't be a bad fit either.  They need that scorer who can take over down the stretch and help Love on offense.

The Knicks are putting all their eggs into 2015 free agency.....again. They didnt make any moves during the trade deadline, which Melo cant be too fond of.

They shoulda took that Lowry for Shump and a 1st deal :smh:

Not competitive enough for Melo to leave that much money on the table.

Melo alone doesn't put them in Indiana or Miami's class...so what would be the point?
At the moment they are the closest thing without joining Indy or MIA

I'm telling ya, Thibs is something else. He's bloodthirsty for a chip and he will get it

Something tells me Jordan Brand will play a part in him going to Chicago

y'all really think he's going to play somewhere besides NYC.
Exactly.

The grass really isn't greener anywhere else for him. This is the last contract of his career realistically. All that fussing he did to get to NY....no way he jumps ship after 2 and a half yrs. I think Dolan let's him handpick the next coach and he'll spend the next few years trying to convince guys to come to NY which shouldn't be hard to do. What sucks tho...is that next year doesn't look any brighter for the Knicks. They can't really make any substantial moves til '15.

im inclined to think hes chosen the money always and now that he is older he will relax on that and try to get a title.

where?

if i were him id choose the bulls

What does NYC have to offer?? Tell me.....

the streets will make you feel brand new, the lights will inspire you

i could see some young guy stuck in a losing situation that may be attracted to ny.
i dont know the contract situations for them, but maybe a rubio, irving, cousins, etc..

Who is really going to want to go to NYC in 15' to play with an aging Melo for a franchise that's been making terrible roster moves?

Knicks fans still thinking another superstar is gonna come in and help Melo bring a championship to the Garden? :wow: ... Melo is in win now mode, he's tired of seeing his homies in the finals, holding them trophies up, and rings on their fingers

Yeah but I think the Sixers starting front court now consists of Arnett Moultrie and BJ Mullens. Sweet Jesus.

i'd love to see melo on the heat and watch hilarity ensue
the audacity, the absurdity of that team

but in reality, teh bulls would be good fit too to watch him compete with bron bron
