Honestly the only way to improve the Knicks is for Melo to go and start over. It's not Melo fault. The Knicks simply don't have anymore resources or room to build another squad for Melo. They're not going to win a championship anyway. Might as well start over now and not wasting anymore of Melo prime. Let him walk to a contender.
Its not exactly Melo's fault, but if he had just waited till the off season to go to NY, they would have a few more pieces than what the Knicks were left with after that trade at the deadline

The fact that Mike Woodson is still coach is simply amazing. AMAZING.
It's hard to cycle through coaches too fast and still find good ones in the NBA...  I don't blame Dolan for keeping Woodson around after the success of last season.  It's not like there are top candidates out there begging to coach the Knicks.  You know neither of the Van Gundys are coming.
At this point its not about finding a good coach. It's about accountability. Mike Woodson was NEVER supposed to be the guy. He was a stop gap whose stay got extended because of an aberration of a season. He's clearly been outcoached repeatedly. His players are ill-prepared. He lost the locker room months ago. He's overused his star and underutilized everyone else through poor rotations or flat out not playing them. Scrubs and veterans have jumped ship. His defensive scheme is getting exposed nightly. He has no offensive scheme other than give the ball to Melo. THEY HAVE TO FIRE HIM. If not to rejuvenate the players, to get an early and fresh start on what's inevitably going to have to be a major overhaul.

I feel you.  But then you have to start thinking about what's next and planning for that.

The year is lost.  If they wait till the summer to fire him, they can find out whether or not Melo is coming back...  And hire a new coach based on the makeup of that team.  Instead of promoting another interim guy who will go on a winning streak at the end of the season and then get the Knicks stuck with him for the next year...

Philly is definitely tanking. You could see they just begged other teams to take away their mediocre talents like Haws and Turner away from them so they could be the worst team in NBA.

Bucks on the other hand, they are just BAD. even their trade at the deadline was an attempt at getting better, even though the impact would be really minor.

I don't really care whether a team blatantly tanks or not, I think it's just a part of strategy to get your team back to relevance, but I do hope that Milwaukee wins the lottery, not Philly.

Yeah the evidence is bright as day and they should be fined for purposely trying to lose like that. Talking about misses lay up, and let ball go out of bound etc. In the future the lotto should be altered so the worst team cannot get the #1 automatic.
