Especially when the game slows down, I trust the Spurs execution more. They have better guard/wing play (sorry Monta) and both teams are on the same level offensively.
I mean if Dirk goes God level of course Mavs have a chance but that's the only way, Spurs are better especially over 7 games.
I don't think so either, unless Monta plays the best ball of his life, and Dirk plays like he did in 2006 against them. That's probably Dirk's best playoff series since Nash left.
The Mavs have held their own against some of the Playoff teams in the West though.

Haven’t beat the Spurs or Clippers, but won season series against the Thunder, tied season series with Rockets (very competitive in the losses), won the season series against the Blazers, still have a chance to tie season series against the Warriors, swept the season series with the Grizzlies thus far, and are currently tied with the Suns in the season series.
Six games remaining against WC Playoff teams. VS LAC, VS GSW, @ LAC, VS SAS, VS PHO, and @ MEM. I fully expect them to go at least .500 against those final teams.
If I could pick an opponent out of the top five teams in the west, I’d go.. Portland < Rockets < Thunder < LAC <<<<<<<<< Spurs.
