lol what you mean he was dragging the Raps to the playoffs by himself? T.J Ford was a stud when he was a healthy Raptor, plus the Raps had probably one of the best PG's tandems in Ford and Jose Calderon.

Chris Bosh only led the Raptors to the playoffs Twice and that was the 2 years before he bolted to Miami.
I think Bosh is good, but this is true.  People often rewrite history with these "he had no one else on his team" narratives.  Raptors had decent talent, for the East at the time.

I guess they didnt televise enough Raptors games in the states....

you guys are not missing anything

TJ Ford was ill but he only played 2 seasons in Toronto and only 51 games in his last one, that was Chris Bosh's team, come on.

Calderon was good, but otherwise he had an overweight Turkoglu that came into the season with manboobs, a rookie DeRozan, Bargnani and uhhhh.

Edit:

Forgot the Raptors had Jarrett Jack and Amir Johnson. They were pretty good, but afterthoughts really.

Toronto Raptors Team Record with Chris Bosh since he became morphed into a "Star"

2009-2010: 40-42 ..... his stats 24PPG 10RPG

2008-2009: 33-49 ..... his stats 22.7PPG 10RPG

2007-2008: 41-41 ..... his stats 22.3PPG 9RPG

2006-2007: 47-35 ..... his stats 22.6PPG 11RPG

Tell me again how Bosh back in his Toronto days was the best PF, when Dirk, Duncan and KG was still running things? Even if you put those stats and those record right now....he won't be better than a Kevin Love, he'd be on Al Horford/Zach Randolph level. #CheckYourSelf

Dudes need to stop overrating bosh's defense. I watch all of Miami games and watched him when he was a raptor. He's not some defensive specialists, just slightly above average as a defender at the most.

That doesn't mean he still isn't a better defender than every other top PF, which he is.

He mostly has to guard 5's in MIA so I ain't going to criticize him there but when he's matched with a 4 you can see it.

How don't you make it to the Eastern Conference playoffs doe? It doesn't make sense, Kevin Love would slap his mother in the face just to play on a team like that in the EAST. He'd easily sign a life time contract if given the opportunity.

I'd admit Jay Traino was probably the worst defensive coach the League has ever seen.

I didn't say it was Ford's team, but I understand what you are saying. The

5's offensively are a lot worse than 4's, so Bosh still ain't getting his props from me for shutting down Deandre Jordan instead of Blake Griffin.

I'm not taking LMA over Bosh because he does nothing better than him and can't hit the 3 like Bosh can.

and how often does that happen? You are acting like Bosh is the anchor of the Heat's defense. He is average at best, back in Toronto he was as useless as Kevin Love on the defensive side.

lol I'm from Toronto buddy, Bosh ain't the same he was when he left for Miami.

Lol Bosh ain't even make the playoffs his best statistical season while playing in a mediocre Eastern Conference...c'mon son they had talent too, not as good as LMA, but he should have taken advantage of the weak teams in the East.

They had talent, huh?

Hedo Turkglu: fat, basically was out of the league after his stint in Toronto.
Andrea Bargnani: The worst defensive big in the history of basketball.
Jose Calderon: who fought through an ankle injury that made him basically immobile and even more horrible defender than usual.
Jarrett Jack: A poor defensive player made worse by the fact that he had gaurd 2's in crunch time, because our best wing player were Demar Derozan and Sony ******* Weems.

These are your top 5 minutes leaders and they combined to have the 5th best offense and the 30th ranked D, 3 points worse than any other D and maybe one of the worst defensive teams ever constructed, and by "ever" I mean literally in the ENTIRE HISTORY OF BASKETBALL

So that's Chris Bosh's fault, the guy with the 25 PER, 24 and 11 and broke his face half way through the season?

Cmon man.

Rondo is CLEARY done in Boston.

Son didn't even let the team know he was staying in LA.

Rondo never gives a ****, I like that about him

Can't blame him for not wanting to run with this Boston squad though especially after years of playing on an elite team.

Wonder where he lands

Man just stop, Bosh has consistently been the best mid range shooter in the league.

LMA doesn't even use his post game much, he's all jumpers.

Just admit that you're discriminating against Bosh because of his sexuality

his post game is serious and his midrange >>>>>>> Bosh
mos def if he had LBJ feeding him while he camps

bwahaha,

Lamarcus certainly shoots more mid range jumpers but unfortunately you don't get points for missing, but other than Dirk, nobody is better than Bosh, as evidenced by the 42% vs 45% mid range shooting numbers.

Lamarcus has a pretty post game sure, but Bosh was simply far more effective and efficient as a 1 on 1 player. Bosh is quicker a better athlete a superior ball handler.

Lamarcus would be similar to Bosh if you just removed, the ability to get to line, elite first step, implacable body control, excellent lateral quickness ect ect,

No one remembers how nice Toronto Chris Bosh was apparently. I really want this guy to run his own team again. Goodness
