There used to be a time when Pop's opponentts would rarely crack 90 points. Seems like lately everyone has been putting up 100+ against the Spurs.

Why is this? What makes it desperate? Are most 10 day contract signings considered desperate?
I highly highly doubt the Kings are bringing him in on a 10 day contract, hoping that he is some sort of savior.
Low risk (unless he gets Cousins to commit that), medium reward. Might as well take a stab at a player who hasn't even played in the league yet and see if he can overcome his fear of flying.

we make no effort to get back at all. every time the clippers get a rebound, it's a 3 or 4 on 1 fast break. no heart.

Westbrook was an elite defender at UCLA. In fact he got drafted to be an elite defender and all of this point guard ability was something scouts thought he needed to develop. Turned out Westbrook was more than ready to make that leap to be an actual PG. Problem is he just has some offensive ability and isn't a true PG. Hence him ******* up the entire chemistry. Doesn't really have the concept of orchestrating an offense.
But we cant play Westbrook, his defense is really good. But he wants to be the man and doesnt focus on it. I wish he just focused on being a lock up defender and just letting his offensive opportunities come to him in flow. Needs to give the keys back to KD
