Listen,

for as great as Lillard has been thus far in his career, he sure does rely on his Jumpshot far too often. I think they said 40% of his points come from the 3 point line

That final play by the Blazers is exactly why I don't trust them in the playoffs. LMA constantly shooting fadeaway dirk like shots, Lillard shooting jumpers in the clutch, not a recipe for success. I don't see anyone on that squad who can get something relatively easy in the playoffs against elite competition.
totally right... that and the fact lillard cant stop anyone on D to save his life. not one person on the team can get to the basket any time they want, they rely too much on the J. Playoff teams wont give you those open looks as much as they have in the regular season.

Dantoni is the reason Jeremi Lin got that 25 mil contract for simply being an asian version of steve blake lol

I give Dantoni prop for saving a lot of of dudes who were on verge of being out the league.
pretty much lol he's gonna get brooks another shot on another team even though he belongs in the D league.

Still can't believe somebody in here tried to tell me Eric Gordon was better than James Harden

What is going on with Kidd-gilchrist?

I mean I know his shot is broken.. But dude was at least supposed to be a good defender.. Or is it a team defense thing?

Eric Gordon > James Harden and you guys will see it this year.

He ain't alone.. Before the '12 Olympics a couple of us thunder fans were saying how harden should make the team.. And it ended up starting a debate between these two

If he had went to Phoenix who knows how different things may have been

They play good team defense but they dont have a one on one answer for elite scorers like Durant, Lebron and Melo

You're choosing between him or Josh McRoberts

I hate how the midrange game is pretty much nonexistent nowadays… Its either a 3 or a layup :\ |I

blame the analytics movement. either you get a high % shot inside or you maximize your points per shot/possession.

oh and you can probably blame josh smith too for being the embodiment of when it does not work

the only reason lin got any shine on the knicks is because they were greatly depleted at the time and d'antoni had no choice, but to put him in.

don't revise history and act like d'antoni was some mastermind in choosing lin because he knew lin would go on a tear for two weeks

lin saved d'antoni's hyde and kept him afloat as knicks coach for a longer amount of time than he would've gotten away with had lin not been as fortunate as he was during those two weeks

So you don't think dantoni system have anything to do with Jeremi Lin shine? Dantoni deserve credit imo. He let Lin play the Nash role. Ball in Lin hand 85%.Basically pick and roll on every possession, lob to chandler or pass to open shooter. The ball didn't stop moving. Very Similar to Nash era in Phoenix. Melo fat ball stopping behind came back and ruin It. Steve Blake was trash under mike brown all sudden he became much more productive under dantoni. Kendall Marshall was out the league now he's out there racking up assists consistently.

They way everybody is talking about LeBron's 61 for some reason makes me appreciate Kobe's scoring run.

Dude scored 50s and 60s like nothing, multiple times.
