It was Monta and Jennings that help u do well on defense.
You mean by them getting beat off the dribble all the time?

You're right. Larry Sanders owes them alot

I lost two reps from this thread and now I know why

MJShoes caught the fade on day two of the season wow.

Im sayin tho, Pistons looking to grab that 6th spot in the East. Shouts out to bobcats last night for playing tough :wow:

Was surprised at the defense effort from the Bobcats, also think playing Asik & Dwight had something to do with that though.

we limited ourselves offensively with them both on the court, but shut down the paint as well. stretch 4s are going to eat us alive this year unless we find a better suited 4 man :smh:

true..... as much crap as i gave mcroberts he was lighting it up...strech 4's will def eat off you guys in that asik/howard lineup

 @ them going lights out so he couldnt get that 27th reb

IM SAYING. THEY STARTED MAKING ERRYTHANG.

but srsly though, he dominated the paint and that's what i expected.

if anything, i think he's spent too much time with hakeem. it's like he gets on the block and thinks, what would hakeem do? then tries to execute that move. the time it takes for that process allows the help defender to come over and foul the #$%^& out of him. he's just gotta get the ball and go. BULLY.

Like what I seen last night with the Pelicans even with anderson out but Jrue need to understand that you are the PG not the closer. We have Gordon for that and been known that since last season. This is not the East.
Yeah I noticed that too, I was like how are they not putting the ball in Gordon's hands instead of Holiday's?

When healthy Gordon is one of the better SGs in the league. He's quicker off the dribble and a far more creative scorer than Jrue. If I'm Monty I would give him the ball in end of game situations every time.

Maybe he was trying to build Jrue's condidence up as a leader of the team or something.

mjsf couldnt even enjoy the first clipper win with that username :frown:

lol at quoting something from the lakers thread and posting it in this thread

wait mjshoes got banned already  damn

Not even a week into the season

@doworkson - good adjustment by Mchale to put Casspi on Mcroberts after knocking down consecutive threes. I think Casspi will get some burn when we matchup with stretch 4s (ie Aldridge, Dirk, etc). I think that in some cases, we can make others adjust to Asik/Howard, instead of us adjusting to them. Regardless, it's a blessing to have an Omer and Dwight on the floor.

i was thinking the exact same thing all preseason. it also feels like he's trying to do the moves exactly how he practiced them without any defenders there so that when there is actually a defender there, he doesn't adjust the placement of the ball or anything and that's why it gets stripped out so much.

Isn't today the last day for the Jazz to decide on a contract extension or he becomes RFA? Blessing in disguise for them if they do not. No way a team is going to bid him up to the 50 mil he wants.
