so should we all hate the dream team and all usa olympic basketball?

that's so different
to a extent yeah.. but we put most of top players to go out there and they put beatings on other teams.... we still brag about how good the dream team was, dream team 2.. redeem team? shouldnt we be tired of seeing them in and beating other teams by so much?

Not to mention Isaiah getting left off the Dream Team because Michael said he wasn't playing if Isaiah played.

Lol, I bet he's still fuming over that one

If I lived in Europe yes.

But since most of are United States citizens your analogy doesn't make sense.

How come there was no complaing from most of y'all when Dwight and Steve Nash went to LA two years ago Let's not act like people thought everybody was gonna get hurt. and it was suppose to be Lakers vs heat in the finals. It was all good for them to come together tho.

But the league reached its peak popularity during a period where one team won 6 rings in 8 years, including a 72 win season & only having 1 playoff loss up until game 4 of the finals.

IDC bruh, that was a different time
Oh, how about the 80s when only the Lakers & C's won 8/10 rings in the decade?

Or from '99-'10 when LA & San Antonio won 9 titles in those 12 years?

If the fact that the "NBA is a bad product because it is the same teams at the top every year/lack of parity" bothered you that much then you & others in this thread would've cut the television off a long time ago.

I'm american I want them to win. Doesn't mean I'm super amazed at the dream teams accomplishments or would want to watch that for 82 games and the playoffs over and over. I'd just watch the globetrotters play the generals of I enjoyed that

Would people enjoy watching lebron, Durant, Westbrook, melo, Duncan, Parker, ibaka, wade, curry, and dirk oome team taking payouts? Yes or no?

I never said lack or parity is bad for the NBA. I'm saying stars who decide it would be easier and a good investment to take pay cuts and all play together for easy rings would probably not be great for the nba. But I'm sure a lot of people would love it. I simply don't think it's should be celebrated or embraced

The USA teams are waaay different.

Other countries put together the best team possible and so do we. Our guys just happen to be some of the greatest players in the world.

Exactly my point. The public loves Dynasties. The dynamic of "Will they ever lose?" or "Can they keep going with this" always is a huge draw.

I wouldn't have much faith in a USA team led by kyrie and k love. I'm glad we still send big stars to the Olympics.

Jalen with the Chris Webber shots.

Missile strike.

I'm kinda happy too.

Jalen has always been real complementary toward Chris while they have both entered the sports media space.

Chris acts like he's ashamed of his past including the Fab 5.

Jalen probably was tired of it and I think the NC last year was the last straw.

not appearing at the final four just felt so petty, had to be shamed into doing it then wouldn't even sit with them during the game. :smh:

I'm rolling with Jalen on this one.
