Stop trolling. Career 37% or career 45%?  Thats what I thought.

**EDIT** my bad you mean shooting in general?  I thought you meant 3 point shooting.  Either way, Curry is a better shooter.

How many all-star/superstar players do you guys see coming out of the 2014 draft class and will it beat the '03 class?

The 2003 class had 4 All-NBA teamers (Bron, Wade, Melo, Bosh) and 4 guys that at least made 1 allstar game (West, Mo Will, Kaman, Josh Howard).

The 2008 class had 3 All-NBA teamers (Rose, RW, Love) and 3 guys to make at least 1 all star game (Lopez, Hibbert, Gasol). Overall, the 2008 class have more guys that's capable of making the all star game within the next few years as well or "fringe all stars". Other guys from the 2008 class: OJ, Gordon, Koufos, Gallinari, Augustine, Bayless, J Thomp, R. Lopez, Speights, McGee, Ryan Anderson, Ibaka, Batum, Lee, Hickson, Hill, Pekovic, Chalmers, DJ, Asik, Mbah A Moute, Dragic. :x

The '08 class clearly had more depth. Do you guys expect the '14 class to be more like '03, '08 or neither?

I'm thinking 4 All-NBA teamers (Wiggins, Randle, Parker, Smart) and a good balance of depth like the '08 class. I see a lot of solid rotational guys, fringe all stars throughout the draft.

wait so who knew Steph Curry's first name was Wardell?

KD

KD tho

what i gained from this is that steph shot 1125 shots from beyond 16 feet, and KD was balanced from his shot selection in terms of distance from the basket

Kevin Durant is also quite good near the basket, but he's more active and even more deadly from the outside than James. In a normal era, Durant would likely be the most effective scorer in the league, but we're not in a normal era — we're in the LeBron era. Still, Durant is an elite shooter from virtually every spot on the floor.

He is so good that the weaknesses on his shot chart are the spots where he's only slightly above NBA average. That's crazy. Curry is a better perimeter shooter than both James and Durant, but he can't match their abilities near the basket, where he's actually a below-average NBA scorer. Still, thanks to his insane jump shot, Curry accumulates points at unusually effective rates.

Calculating ShotScore for outside shots only (eliminating the inside shots) reveals the great "pure shooters" in the NBA. It should come as no surprise that Curry comes out on top. Last season, the Warriors guard took 1,120 shots outside of 7.5 feet; these shots resulted in 1,247 points, or 195 more points than expected. League-wide, in terms of ShotScore for outside shots, Curry leads a top five that also includes Kevin Durant, Jose Calderon, Kyle Korver, and Dirk Nowitzki.

I dunno. Everyone gonna be watching the Lakers this season. On paper they aren't terrible but their not good the least bit. Defensively, they are terrible. Teams are gonna put up 95+ points on them nightly. Offensively they can score with most on a nightly basis. We'll all be watching

I thought we were talking about who was the better shooter

Not scorer...
Good Point...

Lets put it like this Curry great Shooter his shot is water and KD Great Scorer very hard to stop with size and skill to shoot the ball. If Dirk could move like KD in his prime would KD be all the Hype NO period.....

The year when Webber was out for the majority of the season and Peja put up 24/6/2 on 48%/43%/93% was ridiculous.

Especially as a #1 option, pure jump shooting scorer (Ray Ray was the #3 option with the C's when he similarly did that in10-11), dude played out of his mind that season

Lakers worst nightmare then got his revenge in the Mavs series ohh I remember :smh:
