I love him.

If we were in line at In N Out and his feet got tired I would get on all 4s and let him sit on me. Maybe even share some animal fries and a milk shake together or let him in on the chopped chilies secret.

Derrick Rose is easily the 2nd most overrated player in the league, behind Kobe Bryant.

It's funny how people call Rondo a "system point guard" but don't say the same about Rose.

The Bulls win games because their coach has ridiculous defensive schemes, NOT because of Derrick Rose.

Derrick Rose will get eaten up in the playoffs by LeBron EVERY TIME in the foreseeable future.

Why? Because like Barkley says, "Too fast, too strong, too good." Or whatever the hell he says.

Stephen Curry will get more MVP votes than Derrick Rose this year. Quote me.

Rondo gets called a "system point guard" because his teams have been built to cater to his strengths...which is distributing the basketball.

Derrick Rose could score points in ANY offense/system. So how would that make Derrick Rose a "system point guard"?

Go have a seat.

And who exactly overhypes D-Rose??? You check this forum the past year, and aint nothin but slander for the guy.
I dont care what rank you give him as a point guard....who gives a **** ??

And Stacey King says too big, too fast, too strong, and too good...not Chuck.

SMH at the ignorance.

Monta Ellis can score points in any offensive system. What is your point?

If Derrick Rose is the number 1 option on a team with average defense, his team will be mediocre at best.

The same way that if Kobe Bryant doesn't have Shaq or 2-3 seven-footers to bail him out, his team will be mediocre at best.

Rondo's teams were built to cater to his strengths? Are you really this dumb?

So after Rondo's rookie season, the Celtics' management said "hey, let's trade for Garnett and Allen so we can cater to Rondo's strengths" ???

Do you really believe that? If so, don't even respond to me.

Rondo developed his game based on his role on the team. He was the 4th or 5th most important player when that team formed. Over the years, he developed his game and transformed into the most important player on that team.

The Celtics did not "build a team to cater to Rondo's strengths."

You're right...which is why Monta Ellis doesn't get called a system anything.

I was directly addressing your question of why Rondo gets called a system pg but Rose doesn't. That's my point.

Look , I'm a realest. I love my team more than most, but that doesnt absolve me from making outlandish and foolish statements. I'm not crowning the Bulls, or anyone. The season hasnt begun yet. However, I know that my squad has a good a chance as anyone to win.

I've meticulously observed Derrick and his progress throughout the months leading up to the season. The guy looks good....he actually looks better at times. Is he gonna average 30, 8, and 7?? No, but he's gonna beast regardless.

And i hate Miami more than i hate serial killers, but i recognize that they're a good squad. Good teams, but i dont fear them, and neither do the Bulls. Bottom line is...I'm not scared of Miami, NY, NJ, or Indy. Not at all.

Ya'll worry about your team, cause we ready.

i dont blame you Bulls are better than all those teams except for Miami. Can you guys beat them? i think so but anything can happen. Bulls are legit and 1/2 in the east without a doubt.

Derrick and Kobe overrated?
laugh.gif
This fool just compared Monta Ellis to Derrick Rose.
laugh.gif

Then again, Monta does have it all.
What is so funny?

PPG: 19.4, 21.0

FG%: 45.6%, 46.4%

3P%: 31.8%, 31.0%

ASTS: 4.7, 6.8

REBS: 3.7, 3.8

STLS: 1.7, 0.9

FT%: 77.3%, 81.5%

Again... what is so funny?

The only thing that's funny is that 90% of the people who "watch NBA" have no clue about the game. 2 players can have the same abilities and similar stats, but one will be considered great because he had great teammates and coaches (Rose, Kobe), while others will be considered ballhogs and cancers because their career consisted of garbage teammates and/or coaches (Monta, Iverson).

Lol you're comparing career averages to make them seem closer to each other. How about Rose's last healthy season average to Monta's?

Rose is the most overated PG. Westbrook can do the same thing but doesn't get the credit as much as Rose gets.

Kyrie > DROSE Offensively.

Also Lillard > ROSE offensively.

IDC.

Based on what? You just mad we rustled your jimmies?
Huh?

Its my opinion. Offensively i think Lillard and Kyrie are better. Or will be better this YEAR!
don't know if this was posted yet. But Thomas Robinson cited for driving 107mph in his porsche. In a 55 mph zone.

107 in a 55 is nothing. If speed limit is 55 its probably a freeway. 107 in a Porsche you don't even feel it. Its so smooth at 100 mph.
Illmiatic, I agree that we do have a high shot at coming out of the East.

We made it to the fourth seed last year without Rose and before Jimmy Butler's emergence.

We made it to the quarter finals, again, without Rose. The Heat might have taken us out in 5 games but it was a competitive 5 games. Plus Deng, Noah and Hinrich was out the whole series. Nate Robinson was our best player that series.

If the Bulls has one issue, it's health. We'll just have to see if they stay healthy this year.
Yeah but Chicago was better without DRose because the actually spread the ball around and played team ball.

Rose gonna come and just jack up shots.

LMAO you better be scared of Brooklyn Nets. They are taking the EAST!

MARK MY WORDS!

BKN WINNING THE EAST!

AGREED 100%

Deron Williams or Chris Paul will win MVP this season.

Dude bought a Porsche using rookie contract money. He'll be like one of the many NBA players who went broke before him.
regular cats buy porsche's and make less money.
Yeah, but they're all living beyond their means. Sooner or later, it catches up to them.
