Is Derrick Williams a lost cause yet?

Kind of. I could see him being a contributor in the right situation, but he's never going to be an all-star level player. Too small to be a great 4; not skilled enough to be a great 3.

antawn wasnt physically gifted, but dude could play. derrick has all the tools, but just cant put it together and none of those tools is superior.

Kind of hard to compare anyone to Atawan. His game is pretty unique with all the different kind of shots he has, like floaters, finger rolls, etc. Williams is more traditional.
