Man.. Respect to Portland and their fans man. ill *** squad. Spurs, dubs, Phoenix, Portland, okc, rockets... West playoffs is going to be some amazing basketball. Maybe best we've seen in a while. No sweeps

lamarcus is the longest player in the nba, i dont think i have ever seen him bend his knees
laugh.gif
you seen that french rookie for utah? dude is
sick.gif
not sure if he can play though, havent seen much
i just mean it seems like every movement lamarcus makes is vertical, his jumpshot release point has to be at least 8 and a half feet without jumping

whenever i see him he's always standing up straight looking long (no ayo)

clippers need to put in matt barnes and have him try to pick fights with lillard for the rest of the night

pacers, rockets, clippers, portland all have a better chance of winning a title this year than the spurs do

which isnt really saying much since the spurs have 0 chance of winning the title

they almost did it last year but they are not good enough (and never have been) to win a chip when there's a true dominant team in the nba

they are what the rockets did in the 90s but spread out through out the decade

LMAO

ugh portland is good so far this year but remind me the last time they actually did anything in the playoffs.
Damn, Portland is fun as hell to watch.

Suns, Warriors, Wolves, Kings. A bunch of fun teams to watch out in the west. I've got to believe that Portland's 3pt shooting will regress as the season goes on. Or at least I hope.

Spurs have been better than most teams in the west for the past decade

Only 8 teams have won a title in the past 30 years or so..... I see no reason to discredit them

all three of san an's key guys took paycuts to stay, once duncan and pop are gone it will be TP struggling to get his team to 45 wins a season

they made a living for the past 15 years taking advantage of years that lacked truly dominant teams

i just want espn and grantland to stop hyping them up this year as if they're not going to choke in the playoffs like every other year
So tell me about the time LA defeated the New Jersey Nets, Indiana Pacers and Orlando in the finals. Very dominant teams right??

To discredit the 2nd best organization in the NBA in the past 15 years is laughable.

i dont discredit any team for winning the chip.. winning is winning, every other team had the same chance to get it dont but they didnt...

no, to try and argue that they are the best organization in the NBA in the past 15 years is laughable

the blazers, kings, celtics, suns all put up way more of a fight than the spurs did

its also funny when people compare pop to phil, the difference between phil and pop is about the same as the difference between pop and dantoni. not even close

We went over this before, Phil is great but I believe he's never coached without a first All-NBA selection and most of the time, he coached 2 or 3 All NBA players at a time

phil's had good teams but he's also always gotten the most out of his teams every year in the playoffs, other than the two rebuilding years when it was pretty much just kobe carrying the team in 06-07 every phil jackson team has either won the championship or lost to the team that made the finals and/or won the championship.

thats 20 years of basketball, phil jackson's contenders have never lost to a team that has failed to make the finals

the spurs on the otherhand have lost to lower seeds in the first round twice in the past 5 years. they had a free title last year but pop didnt put duncan in to get that rebound and pretty much threw the game and series.

phil is 18 wins 8 losses and 4-1 in series vs pop

thats like saying the Heat should have an asterisk on all their championships :nerd:

2005* = rigged
2011* = lockout year
2012* = lucky missed FTs by Spurs, lucky offensive rebound, lucky Ray Allen shot
2013* = weakest eastern conference ever

You guys beat em 4 out of 7 times in the last 15 years in the playoffs. Don't forget to mention that miracle 0.4 second D Fish shot that turned one of the series in the Lakers favor. I might be off a series or two off but I wouldn't call 4 out of 7 a cake walk.

So who do you believe has been 2nd best in the NBA after the Lakers? Detroit? Dallas? Miami?
