Post your observations from Week 8...

-Poor clock management lost that game yesterday. That 3rd down run should've just been a kneel down then punt. That holding penalty would've never happen.

-Dez being on the Cowboys is the only reason that story will have traction all week long. It's just going to add to him being a "team cancer". You see it already happening. "Dez should be benched", "Dez is selfish.." LOL.

-Here comes the Giants fans...

-There goes the Eagles fans...

-RG3 goes 15/30 for 132 yards but blame the o-line for his off target passes. LOL. Got to love the training wheels being thrown on this kid too. Dude goes through no progressions when dropping back. One read and throw.

-Falcons are done. Stephen Jackson, 11 carries for 6 yards.

-Are the Bengals legit or are the Jets back?

-Cam going to get tested real soon. Just got to stay confident.

-I see the Chiefs losing 3 out of their next 4 games.

Quotes Of The Week

-I'm back now and 11-5 is still a possibility. Especially after the W we are about to get. This one is gonna put us over the top. -JAYFIEND
-Griffin is a much more polished passer and can get it done with just his arm if needed to..-651akathePaul on taking RG3 over Cam
-I thought everyone already knew the difference between RGIII and Vick was that RGIII is capable of passing in the pocket.-Jay02
-I don't have to wait til season's end to know that Griffin is an accurate passer and he actually uses his head on the football field.- fraij da 5 11
-Griffin is developing more quickly as an NFL quarterback than Luck is.-JJs07
-how can you start a team and not take RGIII over any other QB in the league right now, including A-Rod.- AG 47
-And you're telling me...if you just started a new franchise, the Los Angeles Gold (lol) and you have first pick to draft a QB. Any QB in the league....and you're still taking Rodgers over Robert? I'm not so sure about that one. Is there a QB with a higher ceiling in the league? Maybe Tannenhill considering he was a WR two-three years ago.-AG 47

Are the Cowboys frauds?

Vikings:

- OLine is playing awful compared to last year, not sure what it is since it's the same group from last season. Kalil has been gettin' beat nonstop.
- Cordarrelle Patterson tying the longest KRTD in NFL history was the only bright spot. I think the kids gonna be legit in a year or two.
- Ponder, Freeman, Cassel - all suck. Can't win in a division that has 2 good, 1 great QB and you have three bums that can't throw the ball accurately past 5 yards.
- Feel bad for AP for having to deal with such a crappy squad in his prime.
- Defense is just disgusting to watch, they might as well award opposing teams first downs whenever we get to 3rd 'cause it's going to be a first regardless of the yardage needed.
- Greg Jennings gotta be salty as hell (sure he's gettin' paid but seeing his old team beat the breaks off his current must hurt)
- Whens the draft?

Rest:

- Dez needs to stop crying after every punt. Dudes always crying when something doesn't go his way.. I'm a huge supporter but this act is getting old, I get it that he has *heart* or whatever he said in his interview after the game, but he does this shh week in and week out, give it a rest.
- Chiefs keep winning, idk how.. Browns kept that game close throughout and I thought they had it but Chiefs pulled it out at the end when their D finally showed up.
- Matt Stafford with a clutch drive at the end, was a thing of beauty.
- Calvin effin' Johnson. :smokin :smokin :smokin
- Peyton threw some terrible passes in that game, but 38 unanswered points.
- RG3 :x - those numbers were disgusting.
- Raiders did not want to win that game the way they were playing. Steelers with 3 missed FGs and barely getting down the field all game...what an awful game.
- Marvin Jones!

edit:

-how can you start a team and not take RGIII over any other QB in the league right now, including A-Rod.- AG 47

:wow:

Week 9 bet Shoes.....

It takes place in Jerry Jones' strip club so you don't have to worry about getting mopped like the last two times at the Dome.

And knowing you, there's no way you could possibly post again if you turn down a bet against a team quarterbacked by everyone's favorite young QB, Christian Ponder.

JPZx?

Raiders:

-That Pryor 93 Yard Run :wow:
-Our Defense has been playing so well this season
-I hate that we get all conservative in 2nd half
-I just want to see this team play a complete game

-AFC West >

Cam's stock going up and RG3's going down i see

I actually thought Washington had a chance to pull it out when they were up 14 early.

Jets :x :smh:

Playing the Jags on nuetral field: Auto W for San Fran (and every other team in the L

Lot of talk about the Pats not taking the division this year . Hopefully NE mollywhops Pitt next week and puts that talk to rest for good. :nerd: :nerd:

Logan Ryan :pimp:

I liked what i saw from the Pats D . Got cooked at times which is expected with Talib out, but overall they made big plays and did their part in securing the W.

Eagles
- offense has hit a brick wall the last two weeks and no adjustments have been made :smh:
- Chip has to scrap the read option if we got no QB who even attempts to run, defenses know McCoy is getting it and what direction he's going 99% of the time
- do we even have tight ends on the team? I haven't noticed the last several weeks
- props to the defense yet again for doing their part to keep us in the game the entire time

Everyone Else
- Bengals went nuts yesterday :x, Jets has no answer for Marvin Jones :smokin, Geno Smith throws some god awful passes :x
- Cowboys choke yet again, from playcalling offensively to the defense not covering CJ for **** they seem to always find a way to let you down when this sorry division is just offering separation every week >D
- Dez is good but his whiny child act is getting old, YOU'RE NOT THE ENTIRE TEAM. Sure you can call that "heart" if you want but you're showing up your coaches and teammates on the sideline especially if you're ranting right after the defense blows the game like you could go out there and play cornerback on the Lions last drive
- just leave the Jags in London and bring back a Premiere League team 8)
- Steelers defense hasn't had a speedster on it for what seems a decade, Terrelle Pryor made it all the more obvious yesterday on the first play of the game :x
- Falcons are done
- how Brees can just fall into 5TD games is beyond me. it's routine to him at home
- Brady played like **** once again but they still managed to win. I wonder if they're going to try to get a WR via trade
- Browns tried to hang in it but Davone Bess blew it
- I think it's wise if we just stop hyping any of these young QB's and just let them prove it for an ENTIRE season. RG3 looking awful :x
- Caaaaam OHHHH CAM! Keep up this play and that wild card spot is yours, gotta do it against a worthy opponent though

5 in a row :pimp:
The wins have been against avg at best teams, you can only play your schedule...
Good lord the jags are terrybull

Calvin Johnson is not human
I dont anything wrong with the Dez outburst.
The falcons havent been the same since Frank Gore did yhe dirty bird in the Georgia Dome...

Pack and Bengals are rolling right now
Browns gave that game away smh, Campbell found his man on 4th down only for the pass to get dropped  that fumbled punt was horrible too
thanks for the pick KC :pimp:

Skins

-Was feeling pretty good after the first half...and then.... :smh:
-RG3 was bad yesterday. He should get most of the blame...however, the O-Line and WRs did him ZERO favors.
-D.Hall has been ballin' all year. Him and Kerrigan have been the two best defensive players on the team this season.
-Kyle Shanahan...if the run game is working, why abandon it?

League

-If you want a good laugh...look at the # of carries AD has had in the past 3 weeks. :smh:
-Speaking of AD...trade him NOW. Vikes can bring back a king's ransom.
-Calvin Johnson laid to rest all that noise in the Dez Bryant debate. Dez, while clearly the 2nd best WR in the game, isn't in the same stratosphere as Megatron.
-Dez should have been pissed yesterday. Dude was eating and had 6 targets. 6. :smh:
-Probably safer to trust Bernie Madoff w/ your life savings than it is to draft a QB out of USC.

Eh RG3 has a bad week and its "he is terrible" He got hit a lot yesterday....and he was doing fine until we abandoned the run. But it seemed like he just wasn't seeing the field well missed a lot of open recievers. Its just one week against arguably the best team in the league

Only other game i watched was Green Bay vs Minnesota and Dallas vs Detriot

Aaron Rodgers is really good at football and Eddie Lacey makes him even better.
Stafford had a decent amount of dropped passes yesterday too...probably why he was like eff it just throwing it to Calvin all game that dude will catch everything

jets :smh:
dez
giants started 0-6 and the division is still up for grabs
patterson's return :wow:
38 straight points for denver :x

RG3 accuracy is a fixable issue. But it was abysmal yesterday. Missed throws. Missed wide open WRs. Took too many unneccessary hits.

Jordan Reed continues to impress.

Skins D did a respectable job against Peyton.

Skins O-Line is piss ******g poor dont care what anyone says about it.

Jason Campbell played really well against the #1 defense in the league. That's the last we'll be seeing of Weeden.

Cam has played great over the last three games.....against the Giants, Vikings and Bucs.

When I checked my fantasy football app on my phone and saw Calvin's stats I promise you I thought they put Stafford's passing stats in there by mistake.

The Patriots better go and get Fitz or Gordon RIGHT ******G NOW. I need to see if it's Brady falling off or his receivers being that bad.

As I've said countless times before....GIVE ANDRE ELLINGTON THE DAMN BALL. Mendenhall is completely useless. He makes that team worse every time he's on the field.

RG3 was getting ****** up 80% of the time he dropped back yesterday.

If the Bucs and Jags both go winless is the #1 pick decided by a coin flip?

Cowboys
-Just a bad game all around from everyone not named Sean lee or dez Bryant.

-yet another game lost thanks to our highly paid secondary.

-megatron is a man

-here comes the dez hate. Lol.

-same ole cowboys. You saw who wanted that game more the last two possessions.

-Tyron snith holding call lost us the game.

Rest of the NFL
-mcclister scores the prettiest touchdowns

-dez catch, Pierre catch, megatron catches!!! Sick displays of athleticism

-if rg3 did what cam has been doing the media would crown his *****. But nobody notices cause it's cam.

-Eli with a pick free day

-Peyton still drops 40 on an "off day"

Speaking of Cam Newton....anyone else think he's flying completely under the radar?

Look at this stat:

Cam Newton in his last 16 games: 290 of 475 for 3,720 yards, 26 TD and 9 INT. That's fairly decent.

He's rarely mentioned in the discussion of the top QBs in the league, but he's out there proving it week after week with a piss-poor coaching staff and not so great teammates. Dare I say he's underrated?

RG3 accuracy is a fixable issue. But it was abysmal yesterday. Missed throws. Missed wide open WRs. Took too many unneccessary hits.

I agree. A lot of it is mechanics and lost time due to rehabbing his knee. If we're seeing this same version of RG3 in year 3, then you can panic. I think the corrections will be made. That being said, this team will look completely different next year. At the skill positions, you can only say that Garcon, Reed, Morris, and Helu are locks to be on the roster. They'll have their cap space back, so that will be a HUGE help.

-NFC East is what we thought it was.  Somehow I don't expect the media to be calling for another team to make the playoffs, though...  Meanwhile, Detroit isn't any better or worse than I expected either.  Above-average, barely.  Still made for an incredible comeback to watch (Thank you Red Zone)

-Great to see Cam and the Panthers rolling.  They have a very bright future.  Even if they do keep Rivera, they badly need more pieces on their secondary, and they might have the worst WR core in football now that Steve Smith is getting old.

-Chiefs win yet again in unimpressive fashion.

-Dolphins fell apart down the stretch.  If this ball keeps rolling downhill, it's getting Ireland fired by the end of the season.

-Feel bad for Bills fans because their defense is really keeping them in games and their QB luck has been truly abysmal.  Lewis was getting blasted back there but you cannot fumble three times like that.

-49ers are better than the Jaguars- they are rolling now.  Bengals are better than the Jets.  NFL Countdown guys picking the Jets because of their great defensive line while totally neglecting to mention the Bengals might have the best front 4 in football
mean.gif
.

-Always like to see the Steelers lose.

-RG3 isn't garbage, even though he might be struggling.  However, this team could be in serious trouble when they have so many holes with so few draft picks.  Something needs to change for sure.

-Falcons are done.  Vikings are done.  *Shrug*.  Greg Jennings sucks.

Yeah Cam is absolutely flying under the radar.  Agree with all of this.

Going to be interesting to see who ends up with the home field advantage btwn Seattle, SF, or NO.

Superdome is just as scary as Seattle I think.

-Packers look scary. Not even full strength yet.
-Fire Jeff Ireland
-CJ might be best WR ever, Jerry never played like this (throws on flamesuit)
-Thomas Brady is banged up and Belicheat is playing with the injury reports. His hand was more swollen than CP's head

Cam has played great over the last three games.....against the Giants, Vikings and Bucs.

This

Calm down with the Cam is under rated talk. We know he has the skill set...but he has looked good against these teams

they have beating the Bucs Rams Giants and Vikes

They lost to Seattle, Arizona and Buffalo

Lets see how they look against the 9ers Pats and Saints

cowboys -

-tough way to lose, especially when the division standings were working in our favor yesterday
-terrible clock management down the stretch & that holding penalty killed us
-props to stafford on a great game, especially that last drive. he fooled everyone going over the top for that TD
-CJ had a legendary performance... incredible showing from him
-dez's 1 handed TD catch :x :x
-i have no problem wit him going off on the sidelines... he was the only one showing energy & we needed a fire to be lit. id rather see that than him being quiet like everyone else

everyone else -

-peyton with some TO's, but denver closing out the game strong... their defense looked good
-the browns gave KC a run for their money in that 2nd half
-pryors run :wow:
-that raiders defense did a good job against roethlisberger
-packers still getting it done even with all their injuries
-that jones x dalton connection yesterday :x
-big game from brees
-the pats in that 1st half :x they still managed to get another win though... big 3rd qtr from them
-bradys hand :x
-kaepernick with a nice all around game... he did a good job running the ball

Giants

Defense has been solid. Hasn't allowed a TD in two weeks.
O line is getting better. Eli has more time and hasn't thrown a pick in two weeks.
Hills is blocking for him

- Detroit, a lot of fire power but inconsistent. Great game by them and Stafford made some great throws. Calvin is ridiculous.
- Been saying all year Dallas isn't that good. All that money to Romo and hasn't done anything. Take away Garrett's responsibilities and I don't even know what he does now but he still gets blamed by fans.
- Broncos are still solid even with Peyton hurt. DRC is too disrespectful
- SF is on track, they're scary. Still think they're the best in the NFC and Seattle is close.
- I picked Cleveland to win, they had it and blew it.
- KC will be out early in the playoffs. That defense is money but that offense is laughable..
- Mia blew it, had the game and gave it away.
- Jets didn't show up from the first snap. Don't know what that was.
- Cincy is solid but I don't think they're consistent. I'm not a fan of Dalton even though he had a great game.
- I like Oakland, defense isn't too bad and Pryor was balling.
- I need to see Carolina and NO. I want to see what Carolina's defense can do to that NO offense.
